Just stumbled upon your channel my dad and I used to rebuild those compressors since the 1970s in automotive you would also like the Frigidaire A6 to 6 cylinder axial external drive compressor with a 6 ounce oil reservoir internal pump attached to the shaft cross drilled crankshaft that lubricates do the pump . That old York compressor you have there also has an oil pump in the back of the case attached to the rear of the crankshaft and they have an oil pick up tube that was either meant for the compressor to be laid sideways or standing up this is a very crucial thing when picking your compressors there’s a letter or number designation on the tag to let you know which way that compressor was designed to sit so you don’t suck air must deliver oil to those bearings to get a good long life

Those compressors were used on class 8 trucks too. I remember when i was still working on trucks id see several come in with that style compressor
