About the Author: Marcia A. Zug is Associate Professor of Law at the University of South Carolina. Her first book, Buying a Bride: An Engaging History of Mail-Order Matches, was published in 2016 and reviewed in The New Yorker, The Atlantic and The Times Literary Supplement.
