Had one a couple years ago that was completely original. Still had original tires on it. Only thing was the plastics were super faded, but the engine and everything else was spotless and ran like new.
Pretty clean but mines cleaner even tho it’s not a competition I just prefer the bright red man gotta say tho knowing how well I treated mine over the years I appreciate knowing I’m not the only one with a very nice 300ex
I'm trying to look into upgrades for my 98, is there any suggestions? I'm looking for performance but not so much as to where it would bend a rod or some sh1t since it's almost 30 years old and definitely has some good miles on her😂
Mines pretty solid. Had a bit of rust on the arms and cracked plastics, but it runs like a tank. Got a supertrap muffler, and broke the headlight. Pro taper handlebars. Thinking of getting a big bore kit and new maier USA plastics.
@@Jesus__________________ oh, I wish they still made the yellow plastics. I’m restoring one right now to factory OEM condition yellow in the amount of repair I have to do to the plastics is pretty crazy.
Mines red but I’ll put it up against that one. I was going to get the yellow one, Honda started doing yellow in 03 but fouling a red one brand new for cheaper. Should have gotten a 400 but o still love my 300ex
