General rule is 2 plants per Biologist. Or a Meat synth + plant or 2 Meat synths per Bio Any higher and the tool bar appears above all plants and they can't keep up. Thus the food takes longer to make... This really becomes more focused the higher planet level you try... So you got to bring in more bios ASAP from the start with a base before you even make much more. Then have enough steel to still make a mine, process center, and a decent farm dome.
Literally one medical for every ore, I find this game maddeningly frustrating. Workers dont work, engineers dont engineer, doctors don’t make medicine, biologists are actually the only diligent colonizers…and guards do their job. I have tried every imaginable combination of dome layouts, and for every ore you get, you get an injured worker. I have had three injured workers and not one doctor will go make a med pack…i have had dorms, canteens, bars and rec rooms all conveniently close to work stations and all they do is get food, make meals, eat and sleep. A modicum of survival instinct needs to be programmed into the colonists.
Indeed! The AI of the game is weak at best and the programming seems to be focusing on ensuring failure so players cannot say the game is too easy to play.
Love the vids, got a new subscriber here mate, I too just come back to planet base, vids are really informative I did not know that about the food and the different recipes Hope you continue this series :)
I suppose it is nice you can make more than one kind of synthetic meat, but I am not noticing a benefit. I have seen a video that suggests the reason B Gates is buying up so much farmland is to get into the business of synthetic meat. Dang, why are you moving the camera around so much? Not making watching this video very easy on the eyes.
@@Hammer7Jnr Listening to you fail to find the word knocked it right out of my brain and while I've used it frequently even recently, I had to google it to find it. So clearly PlanetBase must have overworked both our brains!
@@Hammer7Jnr What would a bot be doing with plants? Likely just making starch for the plastic, but that would suggest the game needs to be also making oil and grease to lube the bots.
Well when you learn the long term effects you’d understand why we are still using the real deal. Cancer promoting properties of cells that proliferate exponentially in vitro
This game sucks. I can't even put down my dorm and I have enough resources to. This is why I quit playing this game because of how stupidly hard it is to play. What a joke of a game. I wasted my money on this game. Wish there was a demo before buying it. All games should have a demo.
Maybe you didn't play the tutorial first and took notes? If you try some other starting sequence and build a bit too much, you run out of metal and plastic right around the time the game says you reached survivability. Then you realize the little people aren't making ore into metal, or starch into plastic.
