The power of Doom and its ability to play on anything still remains a timeless pastime. Honestly, the thing I find funny about this is the fact that Joker bought an old shareware version meant for a PC and is somehow playing it on his old knockoff console.

The most cursed part of this is that the guy's asking money for shareware.

Honestly it would be so cool if instead of just switching the screen over to Doom you could just play it from the TV in front of Joker, maybe slightly changing the angle so it isn't as awkward. Would make for great immersion.

This reminds me of the NES emulator that the original Animal Crossing had. Nintendo would never approve of such a thing nowadays. Also, some of the demons in DOOM had the same death sounds as camel units from Age of Empires II, which shared the legendary game designer Sandy Petersen as well as, I believe, a few other people. It's weird to hear humanoids making those sounds after spending years hearing them come from camels.

If one intends to DOOM then one must DOOM in a DOOMly manner, because a DOOMly manner is the only way to DOOMishly DOOM. DOOMishly.

I can't believe the porting of Doom to everything has gotten to the point of porting it to other games. I wonder if someone will port Doom to a Kamen Rider belt like the Drive Driver or maybe even the Dreaddriver and the game is somehow stored on a shift car or replichemy card? Now _that_ would be impressive.

I can now live my fantasy of becoming an attractive Japanese high schooler surrounded by beautiful women yet still sitting at home playing video games all day.

Reminds me of the time I modded in SMT music in DooM and holy damn does it fit so much. Also, nice attention to detail that the cartridge is red like the SNES Doom cartridge.

Ok, this is awesome, now i kinda wanna see more mods like this. Imagine if a mod for this game let you play, just for example here, a Ridge Racer Type 4 demo (or any PS1 demo at that rate), and then did the same thing as this mod. This genuinely opens up a whole new avenue for modding in this game, in my opinion.
