No no no you guys, everything is fine!! As long as you use the right pronouns! ! If you want to have an organization witch is supposed to defend a country you can not have standarts!
True, but also, you can see in Jamesons videos and plenty of other information that the leadership is soft and sensitive with the military. Marxists hate America and they are intent on destroying it.
My dad was in the Navy, and he was heavier than this kid is. And this was in the 1980s, and he served on the James Madison (a nuke sub). Yeah, they finally kicked him out for being too heavy, but overweight sailors isn't new.
A true vet. would of pulled the sailor aside and speak too him about the importance of being in shape not recording it and belittle him..the guy was an easy target
As bad as this sailor looks, attacking him with insults is in itself cowardice. The problem lies with the hierarchy and recruitment that allowed him to serve. His desire to serve is sincere, the Navy failed him by not holding to standards and recruiting him.
Yeah bullying him was uncalled for um fat myself atm but I'm losing it to go into the corp it's not that he's fat it's that they accepted him like that lol
@darkenlightenment9773 him approaching him for literally no reason and probably ruining his day was a waste of both their times nobody here is being sensitive it was just pointless anyways stop acting like a k*ke
YEP! Like today's kiddies, the powers that be are like BFF, just like many parents these days are BFF with their kids instead of being PARENTS and parenting....🤔
@spankynater4242 the nation's defense isn't gonna fall because of one Sailor if you're so worried about the countries security then run for President and you can make the standards whatever the F c k you want to but you won't because that requires doing something other than crying on the internet.
The most interesting thing about this is the guy doesn’t defend himself. He just sits there and takes the insults. The lack of self confidence has to be related to the poor physical shape
It's kind of hard to defend yourself if you're being filmed. If you say the wrong thing you lose your job. Limited freedom of speech definitely limits your confidence.
10 years in the army, you were taught that you didn't put the uniform on if you were going to look like a dirt bag. Just some basic respect in self and the uniform would fix most of that. This guy could be fat, but if his uniform was pressed, well fitting, and his hair was in regulation, then he would at least wouldn't look like a pile of turds. The other issue is, we were ALPHAS. This guy doesn't even put up a resistance, he just sits there smiling while he is being insulted. The damage done in the military in the past three years might be irreparable at this point.
Barack Obama killed the American military. Hopefully it gets right soon because if it doesn't, not only will it affect America but all Western society.
should have sat down with the man and talked 1 on 1 with him rather then calling him out on his weight Infront of everyone in that business. shame on him and his command for allowing that overweight bs but still have the respect of sitting down with the man .
They aren't all like this though. My young nephew recently joined the Marines. He went in a little pudgy and overweight...but now he is ripped and super confident, We are all very proud of him!
That’s because the USMC is the Men’s dept of the Navy. There is real training there lol. Otherwise, who else would want to be with a bunch of men, on a sardine can, in the middle of the ocean, for 6 months+. Not talking about MEU either. Doesn’t sound like an Alpha’s job to me hahaha
Yes, he and the SECDEF need to be booted out of their position. Milley needs to be investigated for this and other tactics and proper UCMJ actions applied.
The word "douche" is spelled "D-O-U-C-H-E" not "D-O-U-C-H". Edit your comment and re-post it so there is an "e" at the end of the word "douche". ~Dutch
I’m active duty AF, I’ve seen much worse trust me. Especially from higher up SNCOS. A lot of people in their late 30s have large stomachs and they still can pass pt tests. . They recently got rid of the stomach circumference measurement after covid but yea. This dude isn’t so bad compared to others. Someone should have told him to get a new dress shirt is all
@@JamesonsTravels The "scale" does not determine what makes a good soldier. The PT test matters, to a degree. Scales do not. Looking good on a parade field is not the best way to determine who can actually fight and win. Many strong athletes are considered grossly "overweight" by military standards that prefer small, skinny, weak guys who look good in class A's.
What irritates me the most is that the man recorded the encounter for some fucking internet clout. He could have easily mentioned that issues to him without recording or shaming him on the internet. He has the audacity to say this is the issue with our us military. The issue with our society is people like this guy who recorded everything in hopes for someone like on the internet.
This is what the Navy deserves when they relax standards just to meet recruiting goals and get the bonus for the recruiter. All services are doing the same thing. Totally disgusting.
You can't do EITHER because the player ain't playing someone else's game; they're playing their own game. There is no such thing as "applying yourself" these days - - success is granted to other people on menial things rather than meritocracy.
And you know the person in the video? You know his status and his medical status and physical? He has the balls and guts to serve yet here everyone who is so pro military just going along with people talking crap about him.
You being a "former Army vet" (whatever that means, you're not an Army vet anymore?) doesn't give you any special place to call out another current vet. He could just as easily tell you it is shameful to let such sloth pass without confronting it.
@@alexrompen805 if you have no self respect and can’t keep up basic physical standards than you clearly don’t give a crap about doing any other job properly If they’re too lazy to keep themselves together you can guarantee they’re too lazy to do their role properly
Actually, they do. If by some chance he remains in the Service, and continues with that Obese lifestyle, The VA, or our tax dollars, will be paying for his lifelong bad health issues... The VA is bad enough already. Between the POG type Vets gaming it and continued bureaucratic failures it never will be better... Marine POGs are required to pass the same PFT as we did. Why not The Navy?.... But yeah, we're screwed... Semper Fi
Seeing an active US military individual this out of shape is an understandable WTH? But individually dressing this kid down in public while recording him? In this situation, the guy behind the camera is the real sack of s**t.
At least he joined up. The purpose of this video is to make the cameraman feel better and humiliate a U.S serviceman. Granted, he could be in better shape, but he is still serving the country.
The navy dude could've been 700 lbs with yesterday's spaghetti on his shirt, 3/4 of a beard, and one eye safety-pinned open, and it doesn't un-douche the vet, who clearly fantasizes about being the uniform police for the rest of his life.
This was completely the wrong way to go about this. Not all interactions need to be filmed, and this guy was a complete a hole for calling him out on video. He could have done it privately, or even offered to help. I'm not making excuses for the sailor, but damn, continually blasting him was beyond rude.
If you’re going to go out of your way to embarrass a kid like that, don’t do it on camera and take it to a level that might actually motivate the little bastards. That almost seems staged and just limp from every perspective.
This is completely unacceptable to attack stranger for their weight. Like you said this is a failure on the navy not the sailor. He should take better care of himself
The vet attacking him is disgraceful. You would think a brother would be there for you, to better you. Nope, not this dick bag. He just wanted to attack the kid. The kid was more professional and mature than the man attacking him.
What kind of "valor" is there in insulting another member of the military? Go complain to his higher-up if you think the standards have fallen. Is this some kind of new vet privilege?
Don't hate the player? You better hope this kid isn't in the military. He's one of the people who are protecting this country right now. Him and others like him.
@@Alritealritealrite Oh, did he use words that hurt your feelings? Too bad. The kid is out of regulations, there are weight and uniform standards for a reason. It's worthless jackoffs with hurt feelings that created this level of crap in the Military. He made his point, and hammered it home. The kid looks like 100 pounds of chewed bubble gum.
Believe it or not, the admin was where most of the deadwood went, then they would get commendation medals for writing their name correctly five times in a row
Yes you are correct. Admins had to inherent turds from the command’s other departments because they couldn’t do own trained jobs well enough or had emotional issues.
Upward trajectory of incompetence in all aspects of government has been an intentional strategy for decades. The true rulers of this country need useful fools, crooked people, people of low character in important positions because they are the easiest to leverage, corrupt and control. Useless(ful to some) idiots will do as they are told or inextricably compelled. Incompetents will go along with anything to not face accountability, and will also support other incompetents for allies and cover. Crooked people will do whatever the overlords command either for a payday or to avoid blackmail/JFK/George S Patton treatment. But their favorites- the ones they identify and promote in every facet of gov by their observable behaviors/multiple cross referenced full battery psych evaluations Their favorites are the sociopaths and dyed in the wool psychos like them. The truly evil ones who are intelligent enough so see crimes and lies- but want to be a part of it. Better the devils right hand than in his path? Or they would be devils themselves given the chance
beau biden got a bronze star for pushing paper clips and seeing combat on teevee if the taliban had youtube, they would be laughing their asses off and preparing to bring sharia law to the US west coast
Bruh our government is actively turning our military into a babysitting service for individuals who dont want to do the work and fight through the struggles joining the military entails, so theyve complained about discrimination and uncomfortable enviroments to the point where our military has actually turned into a participation is good enough situation. Our military has turned full 180 and tunred into a glorified babysitting service for mentally fragile over emotional entitled brats who never had to work for anything ot deal with adversity and just believe everything they want they deserve and dont have to earn any of it
Yup, my stepdaughter went into separations after only about 45 days at NAVY boot camp. “The inability to adapt to military environment”. 🤦♀️ Was constantly going to medical….it’s truly sad that gen z is mostly full of these types. Quitters.
Yep just went through fort benning infantry boot camp and the amount of people that turned green that shouldn’t have is insane, as long as you don’t have a debilitating injury they’ll push you through, you can miss out on half of the cycle and still get pushed through, it’s nuts, the things they do just to make their numbers look good is insane
@@crystallc8871well you are her parent. You come across as the bitter step mom. Maybe you should keep things to yourself instead of blasting your step child.
If that is really a USN vet no matter what, he would/should not be taking that sort of insulting without jumping up and chinning the bloke with the mouth. Win or lose you don't take that sort of verbal shite from anyone without retaliating in the time honoured fashion.
Maybe the dude recording meant to ask if the kid knew how to speak Tagalog. He looks every bit Filipino, and maybe he just has a weakness for eating way more lumpia and deep-fried foods than he should! LMAO! 🤣😅😂
He said he's a Yoeman ... which is a paperwork guy who most likely just works in the personnel department. He won't carry a weapon or work with them in his daily duties but he is still a sailor which means he will serve on board a ship. All sailors receive some level of basic firefighting training and damage control and you need to maintain an acceptable level of physical fitness to perform these duties. When a ship is at sea and there is a fire or other trouble you can't just call in help .... the ships crew has to handle things. This guy would be absolutely useless if he's too fat to help or hasn't got a clew what he's doing because he can't be bothered to put forth any effort .... which is what his incredibly poor military bearing indicates to me. You are a sailor first!!
No more standards. No more expectations. No more pressure. No more stress. No more PT. Everybody's a winner. It's a free for all. Now let's all join hands and sing Kumbaya.
Im here at Carson and my 1Sgt has been booting people out left and right for ABCP. Now that COVID is over, they definitely have been cracking down on it.
PT standards are actually higher now than in WW1, and WW2. Training is also much longer than even Vietnam. Now the new PRT has come in that may have changed, but it's definitely higher.
Wow, this guy was way too hard on that young man. Military personnel saw him, still recruited him and then accepted him into the Navy. Also, his duties are administrative, not physical. Since one's overall fitness could become of crucial importance if the ship is attacked or disabled, maybe what they should do is require continuous improvement in physical fitness until the older fitness standards are met. They certainly could do that.
there is a standard for all military personnel that the kid is not meeting. From Grunt to office worker, we are supposed to meet the same weight standard.
This is what his CO, friends or family should tell him, not some random nobody on the street holding a camera. Do that in my neck of the woods and you get laid out.
It's no wonder our advisories think we're weak, overweight, and not capable of fighting...If this is the new normal, and a war breaks out......A lot of us are going to have to come out of retirement to save the day......🤦♂️
PT 2 times a day, 7 days a week? All this would do is raise the cortisol levels and do more harm than good to the body. All that is needed is the patient's pt once a day, 5 days a week, and cut back 20% on calories. Think smarter, not harder.
What you see is what you get, anything to get the numbers back up. Regardless of physical appearance this guy needs some backbone. Stand up for yourself young man, don't let anybody take your self respect. God Bless
