I liked your Gumoss + Tombat combo so much I redesigned my entire system; great call. I got the entire system down to only needing 4 pals and had outputs of all the level 4 suitability pals and Shadowbeak. Its pretty amazing what you can do with some careful combinations. Personally I really value Alpha pals as they have better-than-average IVs so breeding down from them gives you a really good chance at having your entire system built on high IV pals. This system uses only Alpha Gumoss, Chillet and Azurobe, and a regular Tombat. :D It looks like this all said and done: 1) Alpha Gumoss + Tombat = Verdash Gathering is under-rated, not only is it the bottleneck on plantations till F Noct, but also increases yield by Level*5, meaning going from lyleen to Verdash increases by 50% 2) Alpha Chillet + Alpha Azurobe = Vanwyrm + Alpha Azurobe = Anubis + Vanwyrm = Felaris 3) Alpha Azurobe + Felaris = Mossanda 4) Tombat + Alpha chillet = Petallia + Mossanda = Lyleen + Faleris = Jormuntide 5) Verdash + Mossanda = Blazehowl + Jormuntide = Jorm Ignis 5b). optional back cross: Verdash + Alpha Gumoss = Lunaris for carry capacity --- Base stabilizes for the midgame (20-40) --- The next step in the process is to breed towards shadowbeak for a high power team 6) From above, Alpha Chillet + Vanwyrm = Rayhound + Mossanda = Grizbolt 7) Jorm + Lyleen = Relax + Grisbolt = Orserk + Grisbolt = Astegon 8) Verdash + Vanwyrm = Kitsun + Astegon = Shadowbeak --- have Shadowbeak, Orserk, Jorm/J ignis and Anubis all 120+ attack --- Optional crosses: 9) Alpha Chillet + Rayhound = Foxicle + Vanwyrm = Van Cryst = Best Cooling 10) Jorm + Shadow, lyleen + Aste/Ors, Griz + Aste = Helzephyr = Best Transporting 11) Petalia + Orserk/Astegon or Van cryst + Jorm = Wumpo = Best Lumbering + Carry (44)
First I want to thank you for catching my error before! I use much better pals to breed once I'm higher level, I just think this is the best breeding tree for when you've first started breeding. You should see the stuff breeding on my late game playthrough (3 base set up) We're working on getting level 5s on everything with the great passives. We have some great stuff. Mostly I'm trying to get early game stuff out right now because of the update coming this week 😁
@@leahd6049 No problem. the Cooking Pot and Cake is 17 so I could see why you had them swapped. I'm amazed that you had the video changed, rendered and uploaded so fast. I use Berry Farms to build income in the early game so the plan is to have at least all the way through J Ignis before I'm in the mid 20s. Like I said prior the Gumoss + Tombat is way better than what I had before and given how great a starter Verdash is it bumps it up to first priority imo. Before I had planned on doing Alpha Chillet + Nox but outside of Dungeons Nox are so rare that it took me forever to find one. In my most recent run I had basically everything before 35 mapped out but somewhat lost steam going back and trying to farm the 4x passives then doing the 115x for 4star. going to have to work on figuring out a way to keep momentum for the midgame. The update is theoretically Thursday so its crunch time to get everything ready. the most important thing for me come Tuesday is to have my Legendary Sphere base cranking at more than 50 an hour. at 45k a pop they are great for income, and should make farming up all the new pals in the update a breeze. Lets hope they add some more Palbox space :D Btw it looks like you swapped YT accounts when you replied to me.
@@bobnewkirk7003 😆 I can't seem to get anything right today! My brain is still on birthday break I guess lol I sometimes struggle midgame too. I start making daily tasks until I get motivated again. My large set up is so advanced, I'm really praying it doesn't crash with the new update. I can't wait though, even if I have to start over. We have many 4 star level 5 pals now so it would suck, but I'll still be happy to see the new stuff. I think the new island is going to be just north of that base.
@@AzaleahGames Happy Belated. I think I saw some concept art suggesting that they had 4 sections around the big tree. If that is the case there is a pretty good chance that the new islands are going to be out north of the ice or west of the volcano given our relation to the tree. though who knows what they have planned as this game got way bigger than the devs hoped for and they were pretty inexperienced going into it. Like I said before these videos are really well done so I hope you get a ton of visibility during the next couple weeks. I know I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.
@@AzaleahGames you were right about the new island location. I just saw some of the creator release stuff after the NDA ended. That location and the one raised platform over by the forgotten island just got a big boost in land value. plus now that the metal merchant is there I think we are going to be spending a lot of time out on those 2 starter islands. They bumped our bases to 4 though so we might have to figure out a Quad base layout now :D
ngl, I was a hater for about 30 seconds then I was like, hmmmm this is actually pretty cool lol I could never understand why some players think that breeding takes the fun outta the game.
@raynielguiriba8677 I'm glad you kept watching then 😀 And people who think it's not fun either don't understand or are too lazy to do 🤷♀️ Seriously though, I don't actually breed in every playthrough thigh. Sometimes, I don't feel like it, but I think it's a great mechanic of the game whether I use it or not.
I'm late. But as an Ark player coming to Palworld, I think the breeding system is very intresting and I like it. I'd say the ONLY "bad" thing is that rhe cake takes ages to cook if you don't have the best pals lol
@kimy770 literally talked about this earlier. You could breed sooner in Ark because you don't need any special items unless you want to imprint. I much prefer Palworld breeding, it's easier to get good passives than going for mutations. Plus I could never kill the extra dinos and ended up with a million. It was embarrassing 🤣 Using the essence condenser is MUCH better for the extra pals.
@AzaleahGames yeah I was a massive breeder in ark and my friends always laughed because when I bred, they'd get spammed with death messages from all the baby slaughter I did
@@csmyfavoritecompany1213 I know, that was very disheartening news to see. I'm hoping that because it's lower level, fairly basic pals that it won't affect this specific tree, but all I can do is wait and see tomorrow.
The toughest part of early breeding is easily cake materials. It's great to have all those early in the game, my challenge is getting honey to make the cakes. What is the earliest that you can get the beeguard's necessary to make the cakes?
@@MrMagyar5 that's hard to answer because you can get them at any time, you just have to be strong enough. There's no set level to get them. One great way to get them early is to look at pal merchants or black marketeers. I usually kill a few cinnamoths to make my first and then breed a beegarde. I haven't checked the breeding of beegarde yet since the update, but breeding a tanzee and melpaca used to give you a beegarde. I know some of the breeding pairs changed with the update, but none of the ones I've made videos on have, so I'm thinking most low level pals weren't affected. I'll check later to answer for sure.

Honestly feel like breeding certain pals is hacks. Might do it in a casual run, but my current one is slightly harder. (Double damage, longer days/nights, resource nodes increased health but not resources.) So what I’m doing is just ruling that I can only breed for stuff after after catching it. However... think I’ll amp up the difficulty in the next run, probably including egg time, but remove my limits on what I can breed for. Seems like a fun challenge.
