An induction heater is a great investment if you do this regularly....heats the bolt up in 30 seconds and no damage to paint. Also works great for primary shaft bolt that can sometimes gall from the red Loctite. If you work on cars than you know how difficult exhaust manifolds can be....simple job with an induction heater.
100%!! He knows his shit just as well if not better than pretty much anyone I've talked to about bikes! Also, much love, bro! I appreciate the support! 👍🏻
Yeah, alot dealers don't care for your eyes to be in the service department because of the hammering that tends to go on..lol.. I'm not a motorcycle tech/mechnic, but I work on my own bikes and my record with the Lifter cuffs bolt removal, without a break is 3-1..I lost the second one I tried.. used some heat, but did not want to flame it so/to avoid higher chance of combustion..yikes! You can hear the quality of that cam plate when you tap it on a hard surface.. Good point about locking the engine before adjusting the push rods
Everything was aligned when I put the timing chain/gears back on, and when my rear cylinder is at TDC my dots are off by two teeth. My crankshaft gear is at 11 o’clock and my cam gear is at 1 o’clock. Any ideas?
@@CassidyCarsonI haven’t seen a dealership that wouldn’t install a major manufacturer cam. I’m assuming you’re in California, dealing with CARB, which kills aftermarket/tuning performance.
