I am the youngest of five children (the eldest two are my brothers and then I have two sisters after them) and there's a good gap between us (my brothers are 14 and 11 years older than me and my sisters are 9 and 7 years older). This scene reminds me so much of many of the dynamics I had growing up as I had siblings that were grown and out of the house by the time I started kindergarten. I have an uncle who is the same age as me, we're both 20 years old

It's common on one side of my family. My grandma had one of my aunts when she was young so they were more like sisters so my aunt is way older than her siblings. A few of my cousins are older than a couple of my aunts and their kids are the same age-ish. My oldest cousin is like 45 and my youngest is 3 on that side of my family with many cousins and second cousins in between. So we have a lot of generational overlap. Also my best friend's nieces and nephews are all older than her. They were married with kids when while we were still in high school
