The rude dude is gone but might have just been shifted to another position upon review.He was a huge liability and full of ego and escalation. Needless drama and profanity. Simply disgusting that an unhinged petulant child like him not only gets to keep his job after behaving like an 8 year old girl, he gets a promotion! @yesm450 Actually, at Management Level, County positions may be non-represented and non-union. Hopefully, there were lasting repercussions for these kinds of actions. The entitlement held by civil servants is incredible.

There are 5,467 comments...and I'm sure someone somewhere mentioned this: The big man with his check and belly pumped out, in blue shirt, The Big Scary Scott, at one point, assesses the threat because he's a...ya know...Risk Manager...and directs everyone in the office to clear out and go in the back...and he does that at least 3 times...and none of the employees listen to him. The amount of command, and respect he has over his employees is impressive.

Having worked for a municipality for over 30 years this is a prime example of a city manager who is obviously not worth the money he is being PAID!! If the CM I worked for heard ANY employee talking to the public(cursing) like the guy in blue...we would be unemployed that day. I've been cursed and called names to my face for doing my job but have NEVER retaliated the same way back.... GOOD JOB " CM"..... let's hope the city council will not tolerate the city managers negligence....

Their attitude is like this because they have gotten away with it for so long. They have never been challenged until now. Power corrupts people, even if it is perceived power. It looks like a proper city manager is needed to clear out this bad element and hire better trained staff. Just horrible.

Wow. So I just sent an e-mail to the risk manager, letting him have it about his unacceptable behavior. And he SHOCKINGLY e-mailed me back a few minutes later......saying this- "Yes, I had the law wrong. I have been educated. Thanks for taking the time to write. Frankly, it is one of the more direct and kind emails I have gotten. At least you did not threaten to shoot me like some people did. I also failed to assess the situation properly before I reacted. I will try to do better next time, if I am still employed."

27:25 he proves that he's already aware of 1st amendment audits, which means he knows it's totally legal and there's nothing they can do... If the risk manager is meant to be helping the employees to handle situations, then he should know some basic points of law, or they're at risk of catching major lawsuits. He proved he is incapable of doing the job, he put the department/agency at risk, and with his training all the employees are putting the department/agency at risk.
