I lost my virginity at 7. I am 26 and a mother, soldier in the military, wife, student.... i still am broken from my childhood abuse. I will never heal. It hurts more seeing my daughter around that age and truly realizing how little I was .

Please don’t feel that when you were molested is when you lost your virginity. It helps me to think it was my first time willingly. I feel your pain though and also joined the military. It gave me the strength I needed and the protection. I am 56 now and it does get better. Hope the best for you and your family ❤
I hate it when they talk about the Bible, Jesus and forgiveness. I worship the guys dad and they really should read his half of the Bible before they sign up. 🤔 Dad isn't as big on forgiveness.

@imveryhungry112 riiiight they report once/month.. they drug test at random (but drugs aren't their issue), they can't live within x-amount (varies) of distance to a kids daycare or school.. its up to where they move to, to watch for this type coming to their area.. the truth is, they are the one pathology that never can be "rehabilitated"..
I’d love for the board to let this man babysit their children/grandchildren if they believe all those “programs” help these monsters. They cannot be fixed. They will always reoffend. Let him watch the board’s family if they are so comfortable with putting others’ children at risk.

I don't understand what it is with SO's of kids and the church/religion. There's less than 2,000 people in my town but 10 or more churches. It seems like every time someone is arrested for something like this they're involved with the church.

He will offend again. They simply are letting him find another victim. He is eager to get out free. This waa terrible why let him out he was a rambling fool. He breaks probation picks up more charges and ok let him out again. He will be back and needs to stay locked up indefinitely!
what i do NOT understand..if you get 10 years..but get out on parole after 4 years and reoffend..why don't they make you do the rest of the time for the offence that you received parole for ..and then ADD the sentence of the new offence?? the first guy got 10 years ( for the second time) but was out in 18 months after he already violated his parole?? then reoffended again...should he not be looking at 8 more years..plus time for the new offence??? i do not get the justice system in the US!!!

They really need an age limit for alot of these jobs. Honestly, poor people are not elected to be parole board members. Its usually politically connected folks. These people need to retire and enjoy old age. We need younger blood in alot of these positions.
I agree concerning the last guy, you would think he would have spent those years incarcerated learning the language of the parole board so that 1) he could impress them with his industriousness behind bars and 2) better represent himself and plead on his own behalf that he's worthy of their trust. Morally, he learned nothing and still seems to feel he did nothing wrong. Or maybe it was the child's fault. They should keep him behind bars, if they give him to ICE he'll just be deported and then sneak back in again.

The first interviewer sounded like an elderly maiden aunt, who organises afternoon tea at the vicarage, and thinks that qualifies her to sit on parole boards, to help those with 'disadvantaged' backgrounds to turn their lives around and learn how to make 'better decisions' by not violating 7-year-old children and preying on any women, unlucky enough to be near him. Those offenders must wonder how they got so lucky!

I must say being from NY this is kinda more my style because the Louisiana ones are prim n proper we know they don't act prim n proper back in dorms or society the CT ones are realistic
I hate myself for playing devil's advocate for someone who might he a predator (considering earlier cases?) but I've spent a shitton of time on forums where people describe abuse from growing up with narcissistic parents and those parents have a dynamic with their children that fits some of what he said and he wouldn't know that or think to lie about it considering his cognitive issues. These parents usually have a "scapegoat" child that everything gets blamed on and basically gets all the mental/physical abuse and a "golden" child that the parents always side with 17:30 no matter what happens. They will lie constantly to get what they want and they have no empathy whatsoever. They live for power and status, especially in relation to extended family. Some on those forums also report that their mothers intentionally left them alone with predators because they wanted them to be abused. Sadism, envy that the child hasn't been through what they themselves went through as children were common motivations in those cases it seemed like. So my issue with this case is, this guy is not smart. They mention it several times and you can tell that he's basically clueless of what's going on and how he is "supposed" to respond to get out of there. It might be on the level of intellectual disability, I'm not sure. What I'm sure of though is that he (at least not on his own) is not going to come up with an elaborate plan to exhonorate himself by stating that the victim's mother wanted him to marry some niece in another country to get a green card and that she threatened to sue him or get back at him if he said no. He wouldn't know about the scapegoat/golden child dynamic and that such parents are habitual liars who hates the word no and would do anything to hurt someone who made them look bad in front of others, especially extended family (like the person they might have promised a green card and their relatives). The absolute rage of a parent like that to be told no by someone with such a low IQ... and they are known to hold grudges too. So to me, it's more likely that the victim's mother made the kid lie about the massage to hurt him and that he's too stupid to not fall for such a trap by not taking a kid to his apartment. What he did before I don't know, he might still be a predator, I have no clue. But I think it's likely that the mother is the instigator and what he says about her is true.
This man appears to have the misfortune of not being a billionaire or a MAGA politician. If he was, the victim would be a liar, and he would have a very good chance of being our next President.
I was thinking the same thing about his not speaking English in a predominantly English speaking country. If he doesn't even bother to learn English, how well could he be doing with other programs? It makes him seem like he doesn't give a crap about bettering himself.
