because i had put a stage1 cam in my camaro amongst other things and developing compression--equaling lot of horse-creates a distinct sound

Dad&me Bought a 67 Mercury cougar so dad follow me home. When we go home he was mad that the taillights didn't have sequential blinkers. Anyways Dad order everything&payed local mechanic alot of money just to make the tail lights sequential 20years ago...!i!

All I know about it is the custom inox exhaust system, ford racing exhaust manifolds and air filter, and edelbrock carbs. But I don't think there is any aftermarkets cams here.

no choppy cam, don't what you think you hear, but it's not cammed. That's a stock idle with a performance exhaust.

Did any of you ever try changing the heater hoses on a Stang or a Cougar ???! You haven't worked until you have . Those hose fittings on the heaters should have been extended out another 3 inches or so . Trying to get those hoses off from under the passenger side dash is a rather poor design.

Own & run a '67 XR-7 GT "S" code w/ 428 CJ heads, 11.2 comp flattops, Dove dual quad tunnel ram / C6 w/ Stage III kit, Detroit Locker - 35 spline Gundrove axles - 4'56 gears , 3500 stall. I'll give that SBF a good run. LOL.

@waider Nan nan apparemment c'était d'origine à l'époque, mais y'a peu de cougar qui disposent de ce système en France parce que les proprios sont obligés de le retirer pour passer l'homologation : )
