We no longer celebrate Christmas however, this year my husband and I simply gifted Bibles to all our family members. Any excuse to spread the Word of God is awesome.

All we were trying to do was spread the Word to our family members, and we had the funds to do so around the Christmas time, and apparently that is a contradiction in your eyes. Which is fine, to each their own. But let me get this straight, I, as a believer, cannot share in the act of giving to those who are in need (especially my family) because of a date on the calendar? Jeremiah10 i believe it speaks on no bringing cut trees into your home and it tells us the ways of the pagans back then were of cutting down and decorating trees for worship. I totally agree with you. I’m not a Christian. I’m a child of God doing my best to walk in His word. I never thought I was a better child of God than anyone else. I know when I’m on the right track with God . Christmas for instance I stop about 4 years ago and I don’t miss it. When I don’t miss anything or don’t have the desire to do them I know God is on the midst of it. I use to drink alcohol for years every weekend and in between. Stop coke turkey for over 4 years. One day I was getting ready for church about 5 years ago when I did attend church and I heard in my spirit that the makeup was vain it was as if someone was with me saying that to me. Immediately I stop putting on the makeup. My whole life as I know change before my eyes. Even to the food I eat. If I didn’t know my face and my body i would have thought I was a different person. The things of this world is not important anymore. I’m just living to survive. But within myself I feel free. I’ve never felt so Alive. After awhile alcohol was a mask for me to cover what I was going through. All Praise to the Most High I’m done with all that.

It’s a matter of personal conviction. Those of us that don’t celebrate this Catholic mass are not being “holier than thou”. Even the atheist celebrate Christmas. Do you think JESUS is really looking at all these celebrations and liking it? I don’t think so. While it is true not everything that is pagan is necessarily irredeemable or occultism, Jeremiah 10:2 quite specifically gives instructions for us to not learn the way of the heathen and details the practice of cutting down a tree (not carving it into an idol like some people try to claim, and to be clear I am not saying that the Tammuz worshippers did not do that, just that practice does not pertain to this verse), fixing it with nails so that it does not move, and decking it with silver and gold. When you research the origins behind Christmas decorations you find out the grotesque bloody representations that rival many of the practices (if not surpasses) of Halloween. There is a good reason that Christmas was outlawed in the U.S. until 1929.

When I first come to the truth, the lord commanded me NOT to celebrate Xmas and he told me this just after I spent £80 on tree with decorations, I was not even allowed to take it back and get my money back he clearly said throw it out and have nothing to do with it ever again.... my daughter was 6 at the time and she was obedient and understood as she was just recently visited by our lord and my leg was healed the day before her dream by a random man in Tesco who was praying for people and the next day three men come and confirmed the dream who I never knew) I was personally instructed NOT to celebrate it and I have not done since that day I picked it up and threw it in the bin! ... I will not ever celebrate regardless of another’s mans opinion or instruction as I was commanded to not celebrate it.... but it does not mean I condemn a person who does as this instruction was for me and my family so I will just be obedient to what the lord told me.

I understand where you are coming from, because when I was young in the faith, I was directed to Fast several times, and being young in the Faith, I wanted to know why no other Believers I knew at the time were Fasting. That command to Fast was for me, God was dealing with me, and Fasting was part of the process. As stated previously, the Almighty deals with His Church corporately, and He deals with us individually. And as a Christian, I was preparing myself and my family to give up Christmas, in exchange for Hanukkah, which would've been a huge deal for the other branches of the family. Scripture is very clear that we are not to celebrate this particular holiday. The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead the dough, to make cakes to the Queen of Heaven, and to pour out drink offerings to other deities, that they may provoke Me to anger. (HIM Jeremiah 7:18) The passage above is obviously referring to making Christmas cookies and leaving those cookies and a glass of milk for Nimrod's widow Easter who was called the queen of heaven. The only difference is now those offerings are left for Santa (Satan) himself. Let's move on and read another passage from Scripture. Thus says YaHuWaH, "Do not learn the way of the gentiles, and do not be dismayed at the signs of the heaven; for the gentiles are dismayed at them. For the customs of the peoples are vanity; for one cuts a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it not move. (HIM Jeremiah 10:2-4) This passage is obviously referring to cutting down the Christmas tree, putting it on some sort of tree stand, and decorating it. Once you learn why it had become customary to use an erect evergreen tree that has a pointed end decorate it with big red balls you will realize the extent of the perversion in this holiday. The erect tree symbolizes Nimrod's erect masculinity. The tree was evergreen because evergreen trees are full of life year round, like Nimrod's penis. The tree was pointed at the end just like Nimrod's pecker. The big red balls that dangle off the tree, well you get the picture. This holiday is perversion at its best. Every sun-god was born on December 25th. Amun-Ra, Horus, Mithra, Tammuz, and Zeus were born on December 25th. If there was one day that the Messiah was not born, it was December 25th. In fact the Scripture is quite clear that Messiah was born late September or early October on the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles.
You're so right about that halloween stuff, Marcus, everything you say here is so on point. This was our first year not celebrating Halloween and it was quite freeing. So happy to let that go and that was my favorite holiday at one time. Many rescues wont allow black cat adoptions around Halloween time because some people are sick and evil.

The only two holidays I cared about was Christmas and Easter because I thought it was about Jesus but God showed me the truth this year about these holidays and they are pegan....so i no longer celebrate holidays...I will still come over to fam homes but I can't force my beliefs on them...this my personal choice

What about “don’t celebrate the Lord your God in the way pagans worship their gods” ? This is the verse that continues to convict me... we’ve modified how we celebrate Christmas and embrace it as a strictly secular holiday similar to the 4th of July. I don’t think anyone’s going to hell solely for celebrating Christmas, but I do think it’s a source of confusion for children as well as uneducated adults. Just as Markus said the days of the week and month’s names have pagan roots, the fact that we wear wedding rings when we get married is rooted in paganism. So much of society today is rooted in it. It’s a difficult, because we want to do what is right according to the Lord but rather than get all religious and controlling about what we as Christians can’t participate in, we should really seek the Lord on this first in our quiet time with Him. We can definitely interpret the Word in different ways if we are reading it with a religious spirit or with the Holy Spirit. Since it’s difficult like this where everything is mixed up in our culture we need to seek God (in both revelation and Word). We need to get revelation on if we are actually participating in any type of paganistic worship when we celebrate Christmas. I’m still seeking God on this, I have been for years, but the more I seek His answer, the more ok I am with celebrating Christmas even though I see these comments that seem to have “good points” about why we shouldn’t. I believe it’s a religious spirit attached to my life that tries to convince me it isn’t ok, because He really hasn’t convicted me in any way not to celebrate. I left the gift on her desk and later got an email from her asking how I knew this was her favorite lotion.
We celebrated Christmas. I was not at all confused about who Jesus was. It’s up to parents to make it clear to children that Christmas trees and Santa are just fun and not to be idolized. Every year my mom made it clear we celebrated in remembrance of Jesus’ birth because we don’t know exactly when he was born.

The erect tree symbolizes Nimrod's erect masculinity. The tree was evergreen because evergreen trees are full of life year round, like Nimrod's penis. The tree was pointed at the end just like Nimrod's pecker. The big red balls that dangle off the tree, well you get the picture. This holiday is perversion at its best. Man, girl I just woke up this morning really sad and down allowing my flesh to make me feel bad about stopping the celebration of this day two years ago, I have 5 children abs 2 who are younger that would of loved waking up and seeing gifts under a tree, God revealed the truth to me and Christmas Day two years ago and I was shook. I had decided not to celebrate Christmas anymore as of this year. There was nothing of the sort put up in my home and I explicitly told my family that I would not be celebrating anymore. My mother acted like she understood and respected my decision, and under that guise, I compromised and went to her house on that day. She is an elder in her church and claims the title of prophetess. The first thing out of her mouth when we arrived was "Merry Christmas ", which she only directed at my 7 year old child. The tree was up and decorated, gifts were everywhere. By the end of the night, I cannot begin to tell you how grieved I was in the spirit and how hard I had to fight back tears. Or how hard I prayed in the midst of my family for God to have mercy. My greatest thought was at how embarrassed and terrified I would have been if Jesus had come back and found me there. Everyday belongs to the Lord, and there is nowhere in His Word where He tells us to celebrate His birthday. He doesn't even tell us when it is. He does tell us to be separate, and to walk after the spirit. To be holy as He is holy, to strive for righteousness, to put away the things of the world. Jesus has nothing to do with Christmas or any other major holiday, and we can't put a Jesus sticker on it and saying it's okay. Our Lord did however outline His holy days in Leviticus, and said those are to be celebrated forever.

None of your examples are valid. We can’t change the days of the week and things of that nature. But we can choose to not wear wedding rings and not to celebrate Christmas. You like to use the term “religious folk “ to try to make those that choose to honor God in spirit and in truth feel bad about it. Christmas is not about the birth of Christ, you won’t find any scriptures where they are celebrating His birth every year. He told us only one thing to do to remember Him and that was communion. Your last comment about celebrating birthdays at "5" or "15" yrs., is not really accurate. What about "Sweet 16" birthday parties, or becoming an adult at "18" parties, or even turning 21 birthdays? They can be quite big & exciting compared to "5", don't you think? You can even get a car as a present from your parents for those older ones. I'm not really a festive person and to be ho est I've had my own thoughts about christmas both for and against. I know it dosent say anything in the bible about celebrating jesus birthday but it is sort of wired Into the way we think. We celebrate wedding anniversaries, death aneversaries, we celebrate our own birthdays. In the bible god commanded his people to celebrate certain holy days such as the passover to commemorate somethings g that he has done so that god may be glorified and that his people may worship him and come close to him. To me tho christmas has its pagan roots, celebrating christmas with honour to christ instead of the christmas tree is good. It's about the heart. I've failed dramatically as a young christian by legalising everything and over spiritualising things. It made me prideful and self righteous. Jesus spoke to the pharisees who strained their water so that they wouldn't accidentally swallow a gnat (because the law states that they are ceremonialy unclean) and told them that figuratively they eat a cammel. They were literally hell bent on selfrightiously upholding even the smallest of laws but their heart was unclean. They forsook mercy and condemned others so easily.

No matter who talks about this subject, it's obvious when they don't do the research about Christmas. The history of Christmas, the celebration of it, is not of God, the God of Jesus. If people choose to do it, I don't think it's a heaven or hell issue, but one has to want to know the truth about it and want to find out about it from God to know the history. God led me to find out about it, and he impressed on my heart very strongly about Christmas, Easter and Halloween. They are one in the same. They all originate from the same place, which is paganism, which is from Satan. One should not be treated better, or favored over the other. If you acknowledge not to celebrate one, you should not celebrate all three, IF you know the history. That's just my opinion, because God doesn't bring anything to anyone's attention for no reason. If he doesn't bring it to you attention, honor him in what you know about Him the best way you can. Honoring God is in your everyday. You honor him when you listen to him.

I felt bad for the tree and start thinking about all the forests that got burnt down and all the trees that are getting cut down every year just for Christmas. I felt like I wasn’t supposed to be celebrating it and I keep looking at the tree as if something wrong.

I hate, how we as Christians just explain everything away. We give each other the OK to DO WHAT WE WILL (sin)... But, we do not take God's Feelings into account. All of these holidays, are Pagan Holy days. Just like Halloween, Christmas, Easter, Mothers day, ect. We have a covenant of Grace, Glad God the Father Graced us. Romans 12:1-2 I take to heart and I celebrate none of the world's holidays. I'm not better or worse than anyone else. It's my Free Will. I don't judge those that celebrate holidays. The devil is extremely cunning. He has us debating a holiday that some of us understand has nothing to do with Christ but because it's a good gesture of kindness and love we do it anyway. For me it would be taking God's Grace for granted. I believe that once I learn the truth about something and it's not of God then I am responsible for making a choice. Im 17, still live with my parents. I'm aware of this truth, along with many other holidays like Easter, Halloween, etc. How can I navigate a situation where my entire family and the world celebrate it, without committing abominations? This is a hard situation. I've read my whole Bible, nowhere does it say Christ's birthday.
I was raised as a Jehovah's Witness, I understand what you just said. I celebrate Christmas to celebrate our lords birth as a celebration for what Jesus did came down to give us Salvation.

I think there are a lot more positives than negatives. Christmas time is the only time that songs about our savior are played publicly in mass. Christmas brings people together and promotes serving one another. Christians will celebrate Christmas with Christ in the center, so what’s the problem?
I put a Christmas tree up and give gifts every year. I'm a believer and have a great relationship with God. My heart is right and like every believer, I always need the GRACE of Jesus. He has not convicted me for celebrating holidays. As a matter of fact He continuesto bless me, open doors and speak to me. My relationship with God is personal, as everyone's should be. It's best not to judge. Just make sure YOU make it in. My Prayer is always " Lord help me to let go of anything that keeps me from you." When He reveals it, I drop it. He's convicted me about my pride, unforgiveness, etc...He has yet to say " Those Christmas lights HAVE GOT TO GO!"...but if He did, i would drop it. He knows that my life is submitted to Him. I like to do other things besides listening to stuff about god all day. It just makes me feel sad that I don’t really have a relationship with him and no one to coach me. I know the holy spirit can teach me but that requires me to get into the spirit. I’ve spent weeks before just listening to god videos, only to make some progress, hear the holy spirit, have an encounter with the father but then the very next morning back to nothingness and dry prayers. I’m like “???.” I have the spirit with me and could hear his voice before but now it seems really hard to recognize it. I attend online church on Sunday’s but my family are non believers and if I can’t hear the holy spirit’s instructions, what should I do? Ive kind of lost interest in worship music because all it does it make me wanna cry and praise but I’m not really worshiping in spirit. I think I burnt myself out trying to pray and read the Bible everyday for months with nothing really changing. So idk I’m losing that desire to seek, so I’ve been praying for the lord to ignite the fire in me again
The god of this earth is a great deceiver! He has gotten me many times. Scripture tells us to not celebrate or take part in any of mans traditions it also tells us to not associate anything pagan with God at all! God is VERY clear on both of these things. You say he has yet to say the lights have to go???? The book of Mark says otherwise! We are not to take part in pagan traditions period! @@leannemcelroy8482 God speaks to us in so many different ways. His word(the Bible) is one of them. Before you read the Bible ask God to enter you heart so that you can understand his words. When you read the Bible there might be things that standout to you, which might be the holy spirit trying to tell you something. Take your time when you read the Bible, highlight and take notes of things that stand out to you, and when you don't understand something, pray to God to give you knowledge and understanding through his spirit since the Bible was written by men inspired by the holy spirit. The other way that we communicate with God is through prayer. Don't just wait to pray and read the Bible when we feel inspired or the motivation to because it's gonna be really hard to build our relationship with God if we do that, so be consistent and do it always like it says in 1 Thessalonians "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you" So, when we go to God with an open heart and tell him whats on your mind, or heart, and what may be bothering us, not only will God hear us, but he also encourages us to let our burdens on him. It says in Matthew 11: 29 - 30 AMP "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me [following Me as My disciple], for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest (renewal, blessed quiet) for your souls. For My yoke is easy [to bear] and My burden is light." So go to God and talk to Him, it doesn't have to be about something big just talk to Him because he wants to talk to us too and when things are going good thank him, not only for what he has done, but for what he will do😊. After you pray, take some time to just sit there and listen. God might send you a sign, and He also might input something in your heart to pray to Him about. And, finally, all I have to say is to be patient and press on. I know it feels as thought sometimes God isn't hearing us, but that's not the case it says in Matthew 6:8 "For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him." So don't be discouraged and always remember the grace and mercy of the Lord and our Father, and in His time he will reveal and give to you what you have been seeking. And as your relationship progresses with the Lord it becomes easier to hear is voice, so all I have to say is to continue praying for his spirit. These verses are describing the futility and absurdity of following/worshipping idols. It speaks of ppl chopping down trees for the wood to make idols and then use that same wood for everyday things like fire for cooking,etc. God is mocking them for taking something common like wood and shaping it into a god and praying to it...in essence making their own god. I’m not going to get into this with you but read Judges 9:1-6. Then read Mark 8:22-25. You will condemn yourself and others over things you don’t understand because you don’t ask the Lord about. Jesus loves us and wants us to choose righteousness and righteous men but especially that one righteous vine Jesus Christ. Spend more time asking the Lord for the truth, for His Spirit and for His heart and you’ll realize He really loves people and wants us to enjoy living with Him and for Him and He’s not intimidated by a Christmas tree.

My rule is pretty simple: I follow what is written in the Bible. Never seen written that Jesus was born on 25th Dec. or that his Birth is to be celebrated. Jesus said to never take his name in vain and we can see many non-christians take Christmas as the opportunity to celebrate/ take his name even when they dont really believe in him thus contradicting his will.

The celebration of Christmas AKA the celebration of tammuz birthday has been around since before or King was born. Many years later MAN conveniently switched it to birth of Jesus smh. The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead the dough, to make cakes to the Queen of Heaven, and to pour out drink offerings to other deities, that they may provoke Me to anger. (HIM Jeremiah 7:18) The passage above is obviously referring to making Christmas cookies and leaving those cookies and a glass of milk for Nimrod's widow Easter who was called the queen of heaven. The only difference is now those offerings are left for Santa (Satan) himself. Let's move on and read another passage from Scripture. Once you learn why it had become customary to use an erect evergreen tree that has a pointed end decorate it with big red balls you will realize the extent of the perversion in this holiday. The erect tree symbolizes Nimrod's erect masculinity. The tree was evergreen because evergreen trees are full of life year round, like Nimrod's penis. The tree was pointed at the end just like Nimrod's pecker. The big red balls that dangle off the tree, well you get the picture. This holiday is perversion at its best. Every sun-god was born on December 25th. Amun-Ra, Horus, Mithra, Tammuz, and Zeus were born on December 25th. If there was one day that the Messiah was not born, it was December 25th. In fact the Scripture is quite clear that Messiah was born late September or early October on the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles.

I've been in a Catholic church, a Christian Pentecostal church , Apostolic church, visited a Jehovah witness church ones, I been in a Messianic church observing Jewish days, that were hard to keep, feeling somewhat prideful because of the knowledge I was gaining, but also self condemned at times because I would fail to keep the law of Moses, I am not a Jew by birth, so forcing someone else customs on your life is ridiculous. I even followed the Israelite doctrine for a year, to the point of teaching it to others, what a hypocrite I was, I was looking for the real truth, and for the real and right way according to bible to serve God, I was so confused, yes these religious groups all have their differences, but Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit showed me He is all in all. He is the way, truth and the life. He is the resurrection, He is our righteousness, and salvation, Jesus Christ will set you free of any religious controlling mindset religion can ever put on you. All things are clean in Jesus Christ, the truth is Jesus Christ was not born on December 25th, that's not biblical, but there is nothing wrong with celebrating a national holiday of giving, peace, and joy. Having a tree in your house will not defile you, in (Mark 7:15) Jesus Christ said nothing from the outside could defile a man, otherwise every time a person enters Wal Marts or any store that sells Christmas decorations, would be defiled. I don't get into what people tell me about Christmas anymore, neither do I condemn or judge others putting guilt on their conscience because of my own, or someones else's knowledge, customs, tradition, lifestyle, or religious belief, the truth is people can make the Bible say anything they want, but the HOLY SPIRIT will always lead you back to Christ and bear witness to the truth of God, Christ, giving us an answer of peace in our spirit, these religions had me thinking and believing that they had it all together, and im truly saved now, no, their is none righteous, no not one, we all need to work on our own salvation humbly. Amen completely agree! God created trees so if one decides to use it as decoration just like any plant and not for worship like in Jeremiah 10, then how can we call that a sin? Christmas is a time of joy, giving to others in need, loving on your family and if you so choose, celebrating the birth of the greatest man in history!

If We know better and have revelation about the wrong we do, then we must change... Doesn't mean he/ she is better than you.
We don’t go to hell for celebrating any pagan holiday, we just allow legal ground for demonic attacks and entryway into our lives. Going to hell and having demons affect our lives is a HUGE difference
@@rachel.shakira scripture does not change nor does it make mistakes. The scriptures tell us many times not to be of this world of to partake in its events. No mistaking that or twisting that it is clear and to the point.

I stopped brushing my teeth because it is pagan, I stopped eating meat because it is pagan, I stopped sleeping in the same bed as my wife because it is pagan, I stopped wearing socks because it is pagan and I force my family to be this way. We are so unhappy and feel rediculous to worry about such dumb things that we want the whole world to know how crazy we are.

He acknowledged that he wasn't born in December. Its not his birthday, we're celebrating the event itself. There's nothing wrong with it if your heart is right.

Thank you brother. I was about ro give up on Christmas celebrations. I observe Christmas as the birth of our Saviour. I know He wasn't born on that day. But i am thankful that He was born ro take away the sins of the world. 🔥🙏

That whole chapter is addressed to the nation of Israel and under a different covenant all together. Read Romans 14 and see if you see anything our apostle has to say about observing or not observing different days.
These are excuses. It makes me sad because I followed you and loved your messages but this is why I suppose we should be cautious as to who we follow and lean on for teachings. Read your comments. I believe you are wrong.

We shouldn't be celebrating Christmas, you're actually celebrating pagan Nimrod, just research. We shouldn't be celebrating Easter either, you're actually celebrating the Fertility Goddess Ishtar, just research. When we know better we must do better. This goes for all these pagan holidays that people are going broke over. Why not start trying to learn of the High Holy Days and lean towards that. When we seek truth it takes change, sad thing is people are so accustomed to their traditions to the point that they don't want to change. We must do better, no excuses.
But why should you celebrate God in a way that he doesn't want you to me celebrated. It isn't pleasing to him and it isn't bringing glory to him. In the Bible God says to not worship your Lord in the ways that the pagans do. If you don't know that it is a pagan holiday than that's different. But if you celebrate this holiday knowing what it actually is than wouldn't that be disobeying God.
I wish people would stop straining at gnats. Celebrating Christ is never wrong. One day is as good as any other. They all belong to Him. Heartfelt sincere praise is always welcomed by God. How can honoring His birth be considered sin?
And I'd say Hypocrisy, however almost all of our culture is drowned in language, symbols, and actions that are pagan worship...as he says, the days of the week, time and clocks, even fundamental Christian beliefs line up with pagan religions wrapped up in a new package...really comes down to how deep do you want to go down the rabbit hole...because it's deep and wide

@@marnierose7816 the difference with what you're saying and celebrating is that in Christmas people are worshipping God they way that pagans worship their gods Christmas was celebrated by the pagans way before Jesus was born they just slapped his name on it and made it a christian holiday if you only knew the true origins you wouldn't celebrate it. And think that God was ok with you celebrating him in that way read Jeremiah chapter 10.
