I enjoy your videos and watch everyweek because I like the idea of lease but i imagine your net is actually gross because of taxes still need accounted for and the numbers dont seem to work on any leases I look into compared to the dedicated company route i run. Im still optimistic though and look forward to your future videos.

Lol to the guy that says go to landstar. Rate market still junk and landstar takes to much cut. Plus fighting for loads. Better to stick with a big carrier that has freight available until the market improves and volumes pick up again. Buying a truck is good just make sure set aside plenty for maintenance and look into extended warranty companies

Your slow coolant leak that you cannot find might be EGR cooler. Have them inspect it. Might be expensive to fix later.

If you buy the truck from them just run away from Knight T. Go to landstar until you learn and go from there. Good luck sir!

That or go for a good company job our mileage pay is higher we don’t have to pay for maintenance and have insurance and a matching 401k off weekends , holidays and get in during the week .

Glad you’re doing good. After dealing with another company and their maintenance I’ve come to realize knights maintenance is terrible. They do the least they can do.

@@truckingthesevenseas yeah I know. I wish they’d allow you do do your own and show receipts of it being done. Run hot shot secret edt in your tanks. I promise it makes a difference in keeping your engine clean. I have a paccar and they’re known for injector issues and I’ve always run it with zero issues while others are having problems bc they don’t. It also allows the fuel to burn better and you should gain some fuel milage over time too

lets hope that coolant leak isnt the EGR, my Freightliner with marten just had the EGR seal replaced and it wasnt cheap, was a slow leak behind the turbo as well

My Volvo at knight has a B seevice at 70 thousand and my def tank lasts 2 tank fulls then needs refilling

After the 28k maintenance, what is the scheduled maintenance interval for a semi to get oil changed etc.

Most guys change their oil and B service every 25k miles. At knight you are required to do it every 28.5k - 30k as a lease operator.

Are most of your loads drop and hook, and how much time do you spend on live loads ?

The vast majority are D/H. Very little time is spent in live loads or unloads.

No it goes away after week 22. You get it back if you don't wreck or damage the truck should you choose to turn it back in.
