Anyone pls explain painting quantity take off as per pomi......I mean how to deduct doors and windows ??.....for example if two rooms share one door and window.....should we deduct two times ????
Paint is a very thin material so it has negligible thickness. So treat each room individually. Measure the total wall and floor area, Deduct out, doors, windows etc and what is left is the quantity in m2. However in some cases, you should be aware that there can be different rates for painting, skirting, and architrave depending on their size,
