Hey Stewart great video again as usual I've never seen anybody explain golf better than you do my friend I have one question this is for the irons right we don't we don't hold this position with the woods like we do with the irons thank you for your reply God bless

@@GoodGolfCoaching I'm afraid I don't fully understand the the video that you did about the driver drill where you put the stick inside your left eye and then release the club head I passed that stick without your hands hitting a stick seems a little different to me than this particular motion I was having success working with that drill but after watching this video and you saying they're the same I'm a little confused but I'll keep looking and listening and they say confusion is the first step of learning keep smiling

Brilliant recipe for speed. Left leg moving back and right shoulder moving forward at same time through impact. produces effortless speed.

Great video. Could you discuss shoulder plane (like the Ben Hogan glass plane) vs. arm or club plane? Seems like I have to end over quite a bit to get my arms (if held out shoulder height) to point at the ball on backswing & forward swing.

This video and drill mesh perfectly with the video you did on the left shoulder moving around and behind he body with pressure down on the left hand and a flat follow through plane. When I focused on that move I felt my whole body worked through the ball much better. This should complement that perfectly with emphasis on the lower body action driving the upper body. These feels are very different for me as I have been one of those swinging from the inside with a high handle through strike and stalled out body rotation. I have to learn to let it go!

Well, look in the video where your left hip is at 4:46. That's exactly what often happens to me when I try to keep the right leg straight... Obviously that's the tricky part of the story an d Ii have to try harder ;-) @@GoodGolfCoaching

Thanks for this video, of course it make sens and with many practice balls and 100% focus on this element it feels much better ! However when this left hip mouvement is not correct since ever I find it very hard to "reprogram" it for good. Even more difficult when playing in a golf course to score. Any insight to help with this Stu ? 😀

Without seeing your swing buddy, I can’t give you clarity on why you can’t sustain. To make it golf course proof, it’s simply more reps.

Hi Stu I certainly like the power created through the body and the dragging through of the clubhead wiith the iron ..is there an adjustment ....of this when we have a driver in hand or is it simply that the ball is moved further forward ...cheers Graham ?

No change physically Graham, slight change in feels with levers however. Hope that helps.

I still think you have a hidden camera in the shop where my monitor is. Exactly what I was working on. Do you think that my years of in to out and high handle could warrant some stretching and physical work to help? Working on this is hard work. Great stuff my friend as always. My best, NWH

The psoas (hip flexors) could always do with some mobility work and glute strength will also help. Never hurts to be on top of that my friend. 😊
