In his prime Mike Tyson was just so good he was not human, definitely a legend. He don't get enough credit he deserve I'm just glad he turn his life around.
They show a lot of K.O.'s because it is exciting, of course, but he was also an awesome boxer, not just a 'Fighter' or a knockout puncher. Not many lightweights can mover like that, and his hand speed, footwork? Fuck. My favorite is the shift; "Now you see me, now you don't" BAM!!
I agree is like he went from a gladiator/warrior in the ring to a wise philosopher, one of the few ‘celebs’ I give a shit bout when he talks he knows what he’s tlkn bout and gives good advice and insight on life
I remember watching my grandpa and dad watching him fight as a kid. Will never forget watching in awe of him cutting opponents down that towered over him.
I watch Glory, K-1, UFC and was a fan of the old Pride. This man in his prime is the scariest dude in combat sports history. Anderson Silva can beat you with his accuracy and his defense, there are other guys that can out wrestle or out strike you. This guy DESTROYED people. He made some really great boxers look like they had no place in a ring with him. He didn’t duck guys and never hand picked the guys he wanted to fight. He just destroyed whoever they put in front of him. He also fought 10-12 times a year not once or twice like they do now. Absolute monster and a true legend. Tyson in his prime, beats any other fighter ever in their prime. It’s not even close.
A lot of his opponents went into the ring with the intention to try and win a boxing match. Where as Tyson went into the ring to try and cause as much destruction as possible.
@@olynmus100 Mike Tyson was a physical freak of nature, paired with a great trainer & hypnotist. No matter what type of combat sport, young Mike Tysons explosive power and destructive capabilities would've dominated in Kickboxing, Wrestling or MMA.
I kinda agree there..but as with all boxers their days are limited..just not sure which day..his fast and furious style wasn't for the older Mike and his stamina was on the weaker side later in his years..then again EVERYONE he fought was almost always bigger than him too
If Mike would have never gotten involved with Don King and his goons who knew nothing about boxing and kept Kevin Rooney as his trainer he would have NEVER been defeated ever. "IF" is such a small word but carries endless scenarios in every situation no matter what the subject may be. Truth is Mike is only a man. However, he had freakish power and speed plus the skillset to achieve maximum destruction when he landed those atomic bombs. Even if he was a skinny beanpole he would have been a great puncher due to his understanding of the mechanics behind throwing a punch. The transfer of kinetic energy through his body from the feet to the fist was flawless. Now factor in his bodybuilder physique with those Barry Sanders thighs and you have a human wrecking machine who in his prime could defeat anyone on the planet in a fistfight one on one. With his gifted genetics and Cus D'Amato's teaching it was the yin and yang to create one of the baddest mother fuckers who ever walked this planet. There will never be another Mike Tyson and those who were lucky enough to watch him fight live knew that what they saw was greatness. Only a man but yet so much more than just a man.
A lot of people often say he fought ageing heavyweights, past their prime and journey men, that he wasn’t as good as he was made out to be, bullshit, that desire to win, the dedication, the footwork, combined with movement, speed and power topped off with overwhelming aggression makes him the goat in the heavyweight division in my opinion, a 21 year old Mike Tyson was an absolute weapon and the Titan of heavyweight boxing 🥊
A human wrecking ball, mikes a good soul with a wise head but back in the 80s he was an absolute monster , even world class fighters were scared shitless. Won’t see his like again for a long time. One of the best of all time.🥊👍
No heavyweights could match his style incredible the way cus met him in juvenile and took him in it just goes to show how all people need is good guidance god bless u cus
Velocidad, potencia, pegada , reflejos, desplazamientos, técnica , simplemente Mike Tyson.
The first song is 2pac - The Uppercut, Don't Go To Sleep (Izzamuzzic Remix), and the second is another remix of Nothing to lose by 2pac, but I cant find which one.
Todos sabemos las controversias pero lo importante es el día de hoy un egemplo para todo deportista de recuperas ion y convicción queremos volverte a ver en la arena
The difference between them is Ali was a defensive fighter and his defence was at some next lvl and Tyson is a aggressive fighter who goes for knockouts more than slow punches
Ali was defense and aggressive and u can't say I don't understand boxing I know boxing because I'm a boxer my self and I know how Ali was but tyson is something else too he is my favorite boxer
Random internet Guy he would be knocked out before he could land his one move . He’s a one trick pony , Furu proved that . Tyson would have put wilder and the back foot and watched him crumble
No one talks about any other fighter like we do about mike tyson that's because if you was around to witness this wrecking machine you oh so lucky and privlage tyson was 1 hell of a fighter for his age we will never see another like him mike in the 80s when he was hungry was the best ever the world over his losses and mistakes came when got rid of the team around who was around when cus was alive and I can't get with the people who beat him when he came out of jail we all know that wasn't the real tyson mike your a legend
