Watertown in particular is experiencing a "Bio Lab" building boom......who's going to work here if all the talent coming out of the area's colleges can't afford to live here ? Hell my husband and I can barely afford to live here, we work in the trades. Five years until retirement, can't wait to get the hell out of Massachusetts as we sure can't afford to retire here
Good I’m not young I have been living in Massachusetts all my life Boston is the highest place to live it’s not worth the rent the people are racist its dirty to many one way streets you give me a reason why anyone would want to live there for real and on top of all that don’t forget about taxes
- Exactly what is affordable housing. I see stack-n-pack apartment buildings being built all over metro Boston yet the rent prices for them are insane. So show me 1 example of new affordable housing for the common 20yr old.
When exactly, EVER, was housing affordable for a 20 year old? Everyone was always broke at 20. If they did buy a house, they were house poor. If they didnt want to be house poor, they got roommates. Roommates EXPONENTIALLY decrease housing costs. Everyone today acts like everyone lived alone in their 20s and bought a 4 bedroom house right out of high school :)
Then fucking do something that isn’t building more brand new housing complexes on HOA’s that nobody can afford or get approved for at 9% interest… and Cleveland is actually a pretty nice place it’s blatantly corrupt governing body is much like ours here in Massachusetts 😊
I don’t believe you, and I don’t hear your supporting evidence about this argument. Massachusetts and Ohio are two very different states. Massachusetts would never tolerate guns the way Ohio does and that’s just the beginning.
What is it you want to do or where you want to live that immigrants are thriving, and where are they coming from? Like I'll admit my university was admitting mostly the general Asian region for grad students and leaving domestic students in the dumps. But that outsourcing of literal knowledge, because they don't stay and live here to apply that education, isn't ever the stuff people complain about. It's only laborers that are an issue as if we're drooling for that work and pay and section 8 housing offered to those groups.
