Why does it make you feel happy to see hypocrisy? The Pastor only rented movies he believed in and advocated for others to do the same. Just because some people are hypocrites doesn't mean everyone is. And even if everyone was a hypocrite, it change what's right or wrong.

He’s not advocating others to do the same. That would be OK. If he would just recommend his followers not to rent certain movies everybody would be happy. He’s forcing his morals on others by essentially banning movies for everybody.

The Papacy wasn’t even properly established in Rome until 200 years after the establishment of Christianity (313 and 380 respectively) as the primary religion of the Empire (pope Gregory in 590). (Gnostic Christianity also existed at the same as Pauline).

As a Christian, I can tell that these so-called Christians have not really taken a good look at the Bible. Parts of the Book would be R rated in several places, considering the amount of violence and nudity in it.

Honestly, religion is one big contradiction. One is supposed to be compassionate and all-loving - hence, not judgemental. However, there's the other side of the coin that says the sinful would be judged. There's this contradiction of whether one should love another despite their mistakes or judge them and try to "shepherd" them - and that's not a mistake. Religion, from its inception by humans, had always been about control. A true, all-loving, all-righteous God would not care if you watched porn. He gave you those base instincts for a reason - why would he hold it against you when you act upon them? Neither would he care about whether you ate pork or not. Really, only humans give a damn about what other humans do. It's just not divinely important for someone so powerful and significant to worry about trivial matters such as those.
