This video focuses on the most basic actions & movements in basketball and explains what each concept means, why it works, and the common name(s) for each one.
The purpose of this video is to help introduce basic concepts that are seen and done at every level of basketball, to help build a framework for understanding what's happening in the game. We cover the topics; ballscreens, off-ball screens, passing, and movement/spacing.

7:02 I was taught that the dunker's spot was directly beside where the lane and baseline meet at a perpendicular angle and the shot corner was about 3-4 feet away from that area.

I would tend to agree with that. The short corner, as you described it, has become obsolete in recent years as the midrange jump shot is becoming less popular.

Is the flip creen the same as a rickey screen?

Very similar. A flip always involves a ball screen. A Ricky action/concept happens away from the ball when a guy receives a backscreen and then gets a rescreen (typically to get him open for a 3)
