Your Beard IS NOT Just Hair! 

A beard can do a lot to bring symmetry to a face, or extend the face if a person has a weak chin, creating overall "better" looks. If it's well-maintained/trimmed, I think aesthetically it is one of the best things a man can do, if he chooses to.
