I haven't used the NB, but what I love about Saucony is their durability is truly on another level, and you can usually find deals/coupons to get the Pros below $200 around holidays. Edit: My Speed 3s have over 400 miles on them and finally just started to wear slightly, but still have great pop. My Pro 3s have 300 miles and still in great shape as well. I'm also a heavier runner (185+)
I agree on the durability. My original pair of speed 1s had over 700 mi before I “retired” them. They couldn’t have gone on for longer, but I got two pairs of the speed 2s and then now a pair of the speed 3s all on a massive discount
@@benjaminbarretto8744 That's amazing! And again, that's why I always love recommending Saucony. That durability bumps up their value tremendously IMO. I've had Vaporflys that barely made it to 200-300 miles in comparison.
Awesome - all your recommends thus far have been ON POINT and damn near life changing. With the HIGHLIGHT of them all being the Novablast 3 which is of course now my favorite shoe to run in of all time. And will soon take the place of my other ASICS also (I sort of don’t get the point of the nimbuses and cumuluses any more LOL). But I’ve also been enjoying the NB More V 4 for my recovery runs - just as per your recommendation. And yes - I’ll def be trying the endorphin pro 3 in the future (once of these 5 shoes I have wears out 😂)
I think the carbon x series from hoka is a very good first carbon shoe. It’s not one of the fastest, but a good interval and training shoe. I think that is one of the best introduction shoes.
Lockdown sucks on the SC elite! Returned them as soon as I tried them on. On the other hadn the endorphin pro 3 are amazing best carbon plate shoe on the market at this time.
I went with the new balance RC elite v2 as my 1st carbon shoe 1 year ago and it was a very good choice... now I have others (vaporfly, alphafly, endorphin pro 3) and I still see the new balance as a very good start point...
I have Nike Vaporfly 2 & Nike Tempo next %. I find that Nike Tempo gives more snap eventhough it doesn’t have carbon plate but the zoom x is more firm than vaporfly 2. Vaporfly for > than 5km.
So after watching this I ordered the new balance. Not to sound like a jerk but I think they are ugly as mess but I trust you so that’s why I ordered them. Thanks
Hey Kofuzi, Could you please confirm if I need to buy my first carbon shoe which one would you suggest. My current shoe rotation I’m using - Boston 12, Rebel V3 and Takumi Sen 8 I’m really confused between Endorphin pro or Adidas Pro 3. Waiting for pro 3 to go on discount 😉 Would really appreciate your thoughts and suggestions.
Thank you so much. I’ll wait for some time for a better price. Honestly I came across this short reel of yours and thought of commenting. Never thought you will respond. Big Fan of yours, watch almost every video of yours. Love your shoe reviews. Keep up the great work. Need to train harder so that I can run with you someday 👍🏻🏃🏻🔥

Zoom fly 5? I am not a runner! I can only run 300 metres and then I walk!😅 I'm 41 years old! I play basketball alone! The running and walking I do is to be able to play basketball better!😎 What do you suggest Triumph 20 or Zoom Fly 5! I have Nimbus 23,Pigasus37 and UA flow Velociti 2!
@@kofuzi As a heavy (200lbs) and slow runner, do you think plated shoes are worthwhile? I heard they can really shred the calves when you're tired due to the stiffness?
@@atheosmachina damm you scared me... 😂,Today I got my new daily trainer carbon shoes and I have to compare them with my non carbon plated shoes... hoping that no injury will take palce😫
it's a good time to be a runner. there are many great options. in the interest of serving the person who asked the question, I keep the number of shoes I suggest to as few shoes as possible.
@@kofuzi Thanks-just getting back into running-saving my pennies for a good race day shoe(fun-runs and half marathons lol) Cant wait to get a "springy shoe" I come from the days of adidas marathon trainers(The originals) hehe
Its a big improvement from last year, but you are watching a RU-vid short that I try to keep to 30-45 seconds. I can only name so many shoes in that time without the answer becoming using
