My first game was doom 64. But I'm only 16. My dad introduced me to it and brought out his old Nintendo 64 he bought when he was a kid and that's what got me into doom.

in 2001 I was 4 and Doom 1 "Doom 95 port" was the first game I played... Still play the shit out of it with GzDoom.

My only experience with Doom was the original one, which I played at this hotel that had a LAN party going on. Anyone could walk in, take an empty seat, and start mowing down everyone else in the room. It was quite fun.

I got in to Doom when I was 8 watching my oldest brother play on Dosbox. At one point I asked him If I could play on my own. Will never forget having the time of my life blasting through every level and finally meeting my first real challenge at the Tower of Babel. After an hour or so of struggling I was able to get past him continually growing in skill and completed every episode of The Ultimate Doom. When I told him I had beat the game, he hit me with the greatest news of my life - There was Doom II

Mine was Doom 3: BFG Edition. I was originally going to get Quake 4, but Doom being the revolutionary game series it was, and the fact that Doom 1 and 2 were packaged alongside it made the deal for me. One of the best birthday purchases I ever made.

Im a baby to the series😂 I got into Doom cause of all the "when the doom music kicks in" videos, the music is bangin, then I saw some gameplay from Eternal and was very impressed, the game looks awesome, just slayin some demons in the most brutal ways possible. I've been wanting to expand my reach with games anyway, and Doom is one of the ones I want to get into.

My legacy began when my dad introduced Wolfenstein 3D to 4 year old me and told me to "Kill nazi bad guys." I didn't disappoint. Then DOOM came and rip and tear...you know how it goes.

I was born in 1983 i never played Hovertank (i played Wolf on my fathers commandor 64 :P) so i guess i´m the dinosour who played Doom on floppy disc... and yes i am old enough to remember when the word floppy actually meant floppy.

Still remember seeing that Vicarious Visions logo for the first time at the begging of the XBOX version of DOOM 3. A core memory that I will forever remember.

I dont know about a 'hover tank' but i enjoyed watching my dad play abrims battle tanks. There was another tank game that was seemingly older than hover tank. All wireframes on a black landscape. Wire of your tank was green and enemy tanks red. It was 3d but about as simple as pong. I dont know what it was, just have memories of seeing it played. So anyways i killed my first cyberdemon in the tower of babel lvl when i was 6 and dad was stuck.

My first Doom game was 2016. I was born in 2001 so I was 3 when Doom 3 came out. By the time I started playing first person shooters, the COD craze was in full swing. Doom 2016 was such a breath of fresh air when it came out. Doom Eternal is the only game I have ever pre ordered and I do not regret a thing. I'm looking forward to whatever id does next.

Going back to this video that now has 999k views is something that I have never seen in my entire life, also didn't expect to see the other titles like wolfenstein and hovertank considering the title was called "Your First Doom Game Was" but whatever..

I guess I'm that crocodile-like creature, since my first doom like game I remember playing was Wolf 3D on my 386. Actually DOOM was such a massive hit that for quite a few years all those games were called Doom-clones.

First doom game I played was the original, but I was like 3. My first “Doom” game I played as a fully sapient person was Marathon which isn’t a doom clone, it’s a Pathways into Darkness successor.

Doom 2016 is the only one I’ve played, thought about Doom Eternal from time to time but haven’t had the chance to get it.

To be honest the 1st Doom game I've played was Doom 93 on 360 as well as Doom 2. I've always known what Doom was and it's setting but I never had a chance to play it before same with Doom 3.

Technically the Doom 3 Demo was the very first time I played any Doom game, but all I did was putz around Mars City. The Shareware version of Doom on Kongregate was the first time I played a Doom game for real.

I ran a shareware version of Original Doom (95?) in a floating window about the size of a postcard to get it to run a decent frame rate. Even then, since it was my first 3D shooter game it seemed like magic. Since then I've played hundreds of megawads and still play with prBoom since people still put out new ones. BTW, Quake was okay, I liked Quake II and Quake IV, Doom 3 was okay but seemed like Quake with Doom-like elements that didn't feel like Doom. And I don't like playing the most recent version with all its hopping around. I keep hoping for the original 90s Doom in full real 3D.

My dad gave me his game boy when I turned 5 so I’m 2007 I was playing wolfenstein and doom on the game boy. I thank my father every day for that gift.

My first time with the original Doom was when my friend had brought over a copy of it and we were playing it on one of my old PC’s back in like 2000 or so. So of course when Doom 3 was coming out, it was mind-blowing. However everyone has different opinions on that game now. Nevertheless, it was all good memories for me!

My first was 2016 but I’ve played the classics way more. The modding scene is insane. Instead of just Doom, you have SRB2 and Blade of Agony, among many others, some released in the last 3 years, full games made in the engine. Pretty dope.

Played the demo version of Doom95 back in 2001. When you think about it, Doom 3 was not even that far off from being released then.

I'm so glad that my dad introduce me to Doom 2 when I was 7 years-old, and Doom has ever since became an important part of my childhood and life. Thanks you dad❤ And John Romero for creating my childhood ❤.

I always missed more games having guitars, rock and metal into their soundtracks. The only I knew who did something like this were the DMC franchise. Then one day in 2018 I heard about Doom 2016 having a solid metal music with violent and frenetic gameplay and decided to try the demo on PS4. I liked, but not enough to buy immediately. Definitely put on my list as one of my future games I was planning to play. Then saw the reveal of Doom Eternal on E3 and found baddas, but again, not enough to make me buy 2016 immediately since I was occupied with other games. Past forwarding to the end of 2020 while listening to some game soundtracks while doing my chores, one of the suggestions after one of the videos finished was BFG Division. I listened to that and had a fuckying blast like I didn't had in a long time. Then I got obsessed with Doom's ost, both from 2016 and Eternal, but was short on money and time to buy and play the games. It did not stopped me from buying Doom 64 tho, that was very cheap I was finally my first entry into the franchise. Beat the entire game at the beginning of the year, then bought Doom 1 and 2, beat them and finally bought Doom 2016 a few weeks ago. Already got the platinum and I'm definitely buying Eternal with all the DLCs to play on the next weeks. Simply amazing games. Both the classics and the modern ones. I even playing Doom 1 again after beating 2016. This time on ultra violence and 100% kills, items and secrets. Doom 2 was the only one I didn't like that much despite great things like the SSG and the new demons.

The first game I played was the OG Doom from 1993, I found a website that was unblocked by the school system that emulated it, and I played it in class pretty much all day. Good times.

My first DOOM game was DOOM II, because I would sit on my dad's lap while he was gaming.

Wolfenstein 3D was mine. My stepdad had it on his work computer -- the shareware version -- and I fell in love with it instantly. I even tolerated the SNES ports of it and Doom, because it was all we had, and we LOVED IT! We LIKED IT! Oh look at me! I'm shooting at a fuzzy blob, I can't strafe properly, and I have no idea where I'm going!

Guess I’m a Cambrian era fish walking on land as I first played Wolfenstein 3D when it came out and I was 8 years old.

I started from Wolfenstein 3D back in the day on a floppy disk, still got it too. From there continued with Doom to Doom Eternal

I played OG DOOM off shareware discs when my parents were unaware. I was pretty young, so I probably shouldn't have. Also, Columbine had just happened and everyone was convinced the kids played DOOM and it made them do it. As a result, I only ever got to play through "Knee Deep in the Dead" until I got DOOM off the Xbox 360 store in my high school years.

My grandfather used to play doom (1993) with friends and that was the most heartwarming thing happened to my grandfather.
