I think some light white wine would go perfectly with them... My daughter made this for Christmas dinner. It was delicious but one mistake on the recipe for pastry step 2. Said 4 whole eggs Instead of 2 eggs . She had to made a new one. Thank you so much.for a great video! Your big fan from uk .
@@recipe30 @Recipe30 Thanks for the reply! I wasn't clear, I mean for making the pastry cream. In the ingredients it says 2 eggs, but in the description for making the pastry cream, step 2, it says "crack four whole eggs". Anyway, the outcome was delicious like so many of your recipes. Thanks!

Another beautifully stylish but helpfully quick video for us busy mums! I've made the chocolate eclair version back in school, but no way can those be compared to your profiteroles... amazing! i'm wondering if these can be made gluten free low sugar as daughter is celiac/diabetic.. she would love these...Thankyou and btw made your butter chicken a few times..family loves it and passed the recipe vlog onto family and friends!

I just watched MasterChef The Professionals (UK) (cannot remember if it was Season 1 or 2, 2008 or 2009), and in one of the episodes, the judge then, Michel Roux Jr. had the contestants made Profiteroles with Hot Chocolate Sauce!! It was exactly what appears here. Amazing!! I will try making them... 😄

Question: Is necessary (or wise) to poke some tiny holes in the top of the profiteroles after coming out of the oven to prevent them going flat/being wet inside OR does the opening of the oven halfway through eliminate that problem?
