Its because just one bad feature doesn’t going to make your face ugly unless is a very ugly feature, but every feature is important, it applies with every feature not just the nose.

Exactly it makes me laugh that people use models with large noses to show big noses are not ugly yet they use people with redeeming features that makes their big nose fit their face.

And that's why some people can't stop with facial surgeries once they start. A lot of woman makes their noses smaller ("more feminine"), but then they realize their faces look empty and bigger 😂 So they need bigger mouths or eyes trying to "fill the empty space", so finally they get a whole different face.
@@agr8trip yeah placement doesn’t matter much. there are just certain features that we don’t pay much mind to. Ears, for example which are obviously more out of the way, and sometimes hidden, but still never noted nonetheless. Also, when looking at someone you’re usually either looking at their eyes or mouth and so for the nose to be an issue in the periphery it’d have to be pretty damn bad.
I want to agree with you, because overall bone structure is more important than just the nose, but I believe Bella Hadid’s rhinoplasty helped her career tremendously. I don’t think she would be as big as she is now with her old nose. It’s probably the most important surgery, if one is a candidate for it
There are many people with much bigger noses than her old nose was. Also, people forget, for a runway model nose is not an important factor, it's even better to have a weird nose to do a runway show. Small and straight noses only matter in the commercial modeling.
I have to disagree. An accident I had left my nose broken and basically looking like a natural roman nose. The way I was looked after surgery (aka getting the hump fixed) was ASTOUNDING. My facial attractiveness went from 3 to 9 easily, no more awkward shadows or unaesthetic side profile, my eyes stood out more, my lips even looked larger in comparison.
Maybe u didn’t have the bone structure to go along with it. But when people have the cheekbones and jawline to go along with it I think it’s the most beautiful imo
I think noses get too much of the credit (or blame) for the overall jaw development. As long as your jaw is properly and fully developed, your nose will likely be in proportion to the rest of your face.

True 😅 Some people's nostrils look like a 12 gauge Shotguns barrel and some people just look like they sniff a lot and pick their nose by the side profile of The Cave looking nostrils.
Just gonna make this comment and see if anyone else relates. I got really lucky with my looks, symmetrical face, big eyes, pouty lips, decent figure... BUT my nasal bridge Is absolutely F*CKED BRO. It makes me so infuriated. I am currently saving up for rhinoplasty. I feel super content with almost every part of my body and face EXCEPT MY NOSE. I hate hate hate my nose!! Does anyone else feel the same way?? Edit: it is literally just the nasal bridge that's an issue for me, the size is fine it's just the massive bumpy arched bridge.
Literally me, just the nose I’m displeased with, many find it cute and it’s not big just a bit wobbly? Although recently my skins been acting up but apart from that everything except nose is fine.
I draw à lot too. But part of why i draw big noses is because of mine. Its subconscious. They maybe arent attractive but yes, they are nteresting to draw.

i'm gonna be honest here, how often do we go around staring at people's noses? but when we look in the mirror, our nose is the first thing we notice on *ourselves.* i truly believe all this beauty stuff surrounding the nose is just because we think it looks good, because most people don't even notice or care about anyone's nose shape lmao
People don’t intently stare at any 1 feature of your face, dude. It’s the combination of many features that make up the big picture. General rule for attractiveness is symmetry, signs of sexual dimorphism, and signs of health. An overgrown or bulbous nose on a female messes with how sexually dimorphic the face looks. Fixing it will noticeably improve appearance
I like my nose from the front, it’s small and cute, but from the side I find it too long. But literally no one else cares that I’m aware of so I just have learned to accept that my criticisms of myself are useless
My nose has five different ethnicities and has been broken about as many times thank the Lord I've got the eyes and the cheekbones that I do and that from the right angles it looks normal,, cuz my God it can get some bad pictures

my nose doesn't look like any of these lol .. I have a really round nose that has a upturned- tip (from side profile) but also makes me look like a pug from the side. Its basically a button nose in fat-round ... I always hated it but nowadays many people said its cute. So i guess I grew into it

I have a roman nose, and I've been heavily teased about it for years. I remember once I asked one of my bullies why they hated me so much, and he said "because you are weird and ugly". I asked then what made me do ugly and he said "it's your nose, it's awful, fix it". I edited some pictures to see how I'd look with a "normal" nose, and yes, It changes my whole face. It's not that a roman nose it's ugly, it just doesn't work with some features. My face is too "sweet" for a nose like that, but it looks great if you have sharp features. P.s: nothing justifies bullying, if you dislike somebody's face, just stfu.
i relate! My whole entire face is so small, soft and feminine, and I got the biggest bonker roman bulbous hooked witch nose with nostrils as long as beans, sticking out an inch out of my face

Im loterally SO happy im autistic and i could care less about how people look. Seriously. Hotness doesn't exist for me, because people are objectively human and all i register is: eyes? Yes. Nose? Yes. Thumbs? Yes. Prefrontal cortex? Yes. Boom human. I don't fret about my looks, or yours, and i am SO glad i dont have to deal with the self esteem issues society puts on to you.

i have middle-eastern cousins who have button small-upturned noses....and i got other middle-eastern cousins who got the biggest sniffers in the world.
depending on the angle mine can look like the greek one or similar to a straight nose (with a slight bump) i can assure you i would kill for a flat nose, button nose or perfectly straight nose

I don't understand this obsession with upturned noses, those are the best fit for northern-european people, especially women. But even on a Mediterranean woman a Greek nose looks imo more natural, just look at Greek statutes, for example. As far as Roman noses go, I've seen many man that look charming with them, especially if they have the chin/jaw to balance it out.
I was very insecure about my face because of my nose just 3 weeks ago and used to wear a mask everywhere i go but i suddenly got a confidence boots out of nowhere , and people started saying i look better without a mask , the thing is i have very pretty facial features except a symmetrical face or kind of circular square jawline but overall i am very pretty but my nose is kind of weird , I don't have a roman nose or something I don't even have a hump but my lower cartilage or whatever is long and I can't even hide it with contouring and also i have a short nose bridge which is kind of weird but i have started to accept it and because of that i started feeling extra pretty and i think that helped with my stress and skin

This is why I had a septorhinoplasty. My nose deviated from the norm even for my ethnicity, so it was even worse living in the west, now with surgery I fit much better into beauty standards.

Ever since I turned 10, which was like a million years ago ☠️ My mother always told me my nose was big and had a hump. She was always booking plastic surgery appointments but of course..I was the one with the uppwr hand and it was my decision if I wanted a nose job. And whenever I go to school.. there's always that girl with the perfect nose, but it's okay because I as born with this nose but why isn't it acceptable.
I’m a bloke with a very prominent brow bone almost Neanderthal like but with a short feminine upturned nose.. they just don’t mix. Some say they are a nice combination of masculine and feminine features and some say I look like a modern caveman lol🤦🏼♂️ always been a bit insecure about my nose and considered rhinoplasty but I’ve been mewing for a while to see if that helps develop my mid face for now.
My nose isn't even that big or bumpy,but just my alar area is big but ever since I was a child I've gotten so much shit about it from my relatives that i have no words for it. I'm 25 now but having to hear that I have a huge nose,people trying to pinch my nose since I was a 2 year old, my elders doing nose fights with me saying that only my nose is big enough to defeat theirs, I can't help but hate it so much. So much so ,that i developed this bad habit of mentioning that I have a big nose in conversations when I meet new people so that they can't attack me. And they would stare at me in shock and say that there's no way it's a big nose. But my insecurity has developed to such point that I can't help it and I've decided to get a surgery in a few years. And I will. Coz everytime I'm out and about, I'm with friends, anywhere I'm just hiding so that they can't click a lot of pictures coz I'm always worried that my nose is gonna look huge. So yeah. I can't help it. It has been drilled into me since years.

There wasn't really any female equivalent of the word "guy" that came to my mind, so I just went with female instead of woman. But most ppl don't even know what that is in today's society, so what do I know 🤷♂️

Nobody actually cares about noses.Yeah, someone might comment but in the end it's not ugly or important when it's defined by shape and proportional to other features.Some people will say that you have big nose others won't.It's because button really small noses are presented as the most beautiful don't know why, we can't look the same and compared to it every other looks big even if it's actually not.We should celebrate uniqueness.
