Yousef is something else , not Okocha or even Romario , He have his special touch and intelligence, even Ronaldinho not near his intelligence, i am not exaggerating, i saw both of them in the field , Yousef was more superior in the way he thinks with the football
Never heard of this guy and that is why I love your videos. You always make videos of underrated and forgotten players. Keep doing what you're doing Mati!
Thanks, Mati; I remember when he scores an incredible goal against Al Ittihad when the defenders tackle him and lose the ball suddenly his colleague pass the ball to him while he is (still on the ground,) and he unbelievably scores the goal..!!! Unfortunately; I couldn't find this scene in any sport media
You can enjoy watching his dribbling skills here. He could dodge many players at once, such as Maradona and Messi.. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-o-Qp0ndQ6ao.htmlsi=n_tdhW8NVy51F7vM
We have done so many players injustice by not naming in them in the great players bracket just because they don’t play in Europe. That’s just sad to see.
He only played for some unknown weak club called "AL-Hilal" and seldom faced strong opponents, he would have been a joke while playing for any top team in Europe. No, what's sad to see is that idiots like you still exist who refuse to face reality.
@@lev2727 lol alhilal is number 1 team in asia, and played in 2019 club world cup!!!, almost qualifying to the final to play liverpool, you might need to rethink that. let me make it easy for you, alhilal is the real madrid of the AFC (asian champions league), if alhilal played in your home country league will place in the first 4 which im sure is some eastern european country judging by your name.
Fun Fact: He plays on the right wing half the stadium will switch there seats to the opposite side in the half time break so we can see him close and enjoy watching him .Yousef is one of the reasons I’m supporting Al-Hilal 💙💙🇸🇦
The problem of Saudi league that they give big salary to the players the so they don't leave Saudi that is why our players are shit, they should let them go try their luck maybe the will do fine in Europe and gain professional skills
The best footballer in Asia's history. In fact, I consider him one of the Top 20 players of all time the years fom 84-2003 were Full of incredible magical levels of talents, skills, agility, vision, tricks, passes, goals , dribbling, composure, & above all leadership and Gold Trophies 🥇🏆 Everything you wish to watch in football, you could watch in this Legend Yousif AlThunian the only reason he didn't play in Europe during his 1st 10 years is because it wasn't allowed for footballers in Saudi Arabia to play outside the country ( stupid regulations were there for developing the sport in the country) Shame !! Great video & Great channel 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
This player invented moves and dribbling that other stars are famous for and registered in their name, and he did it before they were even born. live long philosopher🇸🇦🌷
Thank you.. Yousef Al-Thunayan - player of Al-Hilal club and the Saudi national team.. He is skillfully comparable to Diego Armando Maradona.. Most of the skills we see in this era were implemented by Youssef 30 years ago.. Thank you again for this fun video
Honestly speaking, I have never seen a player like this. He is a very talented, intelligent and skillful player. He shoots and his passes are very smart. He has been at his level in Europe for a long time, but there was no professionalism before.
in every country there is one player that everybody loves and enjoy irregardless of your club, in Spain it is Iniesta, in Brazil Ronaldinho, in Saudi Arabia it is this player (i dont support the club but we all love him)
ive never seen Saudi football but... ONE of the best to have played at your club??? you must have one hell of a club if you have had others as good as him
This is one of the best players in the world, but it is somewhat old and he made the famous moves of Ronaldinho and Cristiano before they did it in order to get to know him better. Listen to what Brazil coach Zagallo said about him and what Ronaldinho said about him. His name is yousef and he is Saudi player in alhilal team 👌👍
The very best player Asia ever had. Argentina got Maradona the legend, Italiy got Baggio, Asia got Althunian! This guy is crazy he won everything possible with his national team and club. Thanks for this awesome video.
One of the most talented player of his generation and played well into his late 30s (I think he retired around 2004, he was 40 around that time.). Anybody who loves football, would love watching Al-Thanyaan play. He was in it for the fun and giving pleasure to the spectators. Saudi Arabia was a force to reckon with back in the days when the competition was fierce in the asian/gulf conference (Iraq is another one). Al-Thanyaan could easily have gone to any european league and done well but arpund that time the gulf and asian league was deemed inferior (it did not lack talent but there was some prejudice involved). However Saudi league at the time was amongst the highest paying leagues in the region as well as the arab world and most players were well compensated by their clubs especially the stars and talented. As a moroccan who grew up watching football in its best decade (mid 80s to 90s), Al Thanyaan surely made me eager to watch the Saudi national team and Al-Hilal Club because I always expected him to do some new or awesome tricks. In my opinion, he actually played in as attacking midfield more than a right winger or right forward. In his later years he played more like a defensive midfield and mastred both arts of passing (especially behind and between defenders) and scoring free kicks. He sure was an artist. In football, you can teach discipline and tactics but talent and the love of the game those you can rarely teach. Yousouf Al-Thanyan had a lotta talent and he surely loved the game and the spectators. Thank you for yhe video
I heard from a Brazilian coach who was the coach of this player's team in one of the meetings. He mentioned to the broadcaster this player and said that he had received offers from Europe, the most important of which were from Real Madrid, but he refused the offer, because the Saudi Federation at the time prevented players, particularly high-skilled players, from being professional in Europe.
Youssef Al-Thunayan is a Saudi player from the Al-Hilal club, the champion of Asia, the football bracelet in his time and time, a talent that will not be repeated in the stadiums and he did not take his right to the media, the honor and the lights
We were preparing for exercises and matches to enjoy the creativity of this dazzling and enjoyable player with his performance and we hope that the match will continue even if our team (Al Hilal) is a winner, in addition to the presence of the fans of other clubs who love to have fun.
Yousef Al Thunaiyan is a Saudi player used to play in Al Hilal club the most famous club in Asia with more than 60 championships. Yousef was the legend of Saudi football in the 80s and 90s. Thank you for this great video
This is the wonder of Saudi football, and Al-Hilal club player Youssef Al-Thunayan has the same skills as Maradona, and the same body did not take his media right like the rest of the defect in the world. We are proud of his support for the Saudi Hilal.
I regret that there is no clip on RU-vid that shows us his goals and industries..but here I will present to you some of the statistics of this player so that everyone knows that he is not just a mere skillful player.. Youssef Al-Thunayan's football career began in 1984 .. With Al-Hilal Club .. He participated with the team in 350 matches and scored 183 goals He joined the national team in 1986. He participated with the national team in 81 matches. He scored 20 goals. Al-Thunayan achieved 25 championships with his team. Al-Thaniyan achieved 3 championships with the national team - Asian Cup 1988-1996 Arab Championship 1998 .. Youssef Al Thunayan plays as a right winger, but he moved to the game makers at the end of his career .. So, during his football career, he scored 203 goals with the club and the national team. And he has 77 assists for goals.. (But I am not sure of this number.. There is no confirmed source for the number of his assists!).. In his career, he achieved 28 championships between club and national team .. .. He participated with the national team in the World Cup once, in 1998, at the age of 35. He scored in that participation one goal through a penalty kick. He retired from football in 2004 because he was traveling to treat his mother.. Therefore, Youssef Al-Thunayan is considered a legend of Saudi football, but some see him as the number one in the history of Saudi football.. .. You can refer to some sources to confirm these statistics 👍🏽

This man i grow up watching him play for my team Al Hilal , He was the reason why as a child 5 years old to be alhilal fan , He was from another World , Not like Ronaldinho or Messi , he was something else , he was humiliating players and make the crowd to laugh, he was not taking football seriously, But despite that he was a Hero , always on time and make the team to change in a magic way when he entered the field, there is a lot of videos of him but in arabic , you can Type يوسف الثنيان
The Saudi football philosopher and Al-Hilal club, which won the World Junior Championships in 1989 with national team and the best Asian player 3 times, two Asian championships with the national team, five Asian championships with the Al-Hilal team. Unfortunately, professionalism was not allowed outside for Saudi players until 2008 and the period of the greatest Asian player from 1985 to 2004 without anyone knowing him and he ended up with the greatest generation that played for the national team without being professional abroad.
