I received a strike for posting a few Bryan Adams live videos I took a couple of weeks ago. You're right that it makes absolutely no sense. Adams and Valance hold the copyright and get the funds if someone watches it, not me (or you).. The worst part is that the company causing the strikes was probably hired by the record company and likely just uses AI, not humans, to pop you (and me). There's accordingly little to no rationale as to why one complaint or another or when. It just happens. And sin e this company seems to be acting for the rights holder, the odds of succeeding in an appeal are probably not very good. 😢

None of it makes sense, be it from yt or record labels or both -- no sense whatsoever, especially when there are channels that yt should take down but do not. It seems like some of the nicer/better channels have issues but some crappy ones keep on going. Maybe it's about money that's generated? But 1st order of business is save everything!! Bryan Adams is always a risk. He will throw strikes any time his stuff is used. I make karaoke vids and upload them to my channel. I got a strike the first time I used a Bryan Adams song. It's really not a money thing. It's about control and greed from some of these artists. In reality, they should be thanking people like you for giving their music widespread promotion.

These bands look at your content and see you're posting misinformation and conspiracy videos and they don't want their music associated with someone who posts that kind of crap.
