I dated a narcissist before and it’s terrible. I’ve seen all of these behaviors time and time again. They know how to make you feel like you are beneath them, and that you need them. It’s emotional manipulation and control. The anger outburst and accusation for being at fault for considering breaking up is also a similar experience I’ve had.
My bullies are exactly the same. Yourfriendzippity has the same temper when questioned. If he got violent with me in person I'd lay him out quick but he would totally get violent with a vulnerable person.
I’m petite and have experience w narcissists in my family. So outside of that I notice sometimes when someone says something to me that I know they wouldn’t dare say to a bloke a foot taller! That’s one of the signals I pick up on socially now to be very aware of.

The messages he sent were absolutely baffling, he literally threatens to break her neck and tells her to KHS. He also likes saying the N word when he's mad, for some reason, it's almost funny how ridiculous it is until you realize this dude is a genuinely crazed and dangerous person, and there's many more out there just like him.

i'd love to see some body language analyses on The Sopranos. it's always interesting to see how some narcissistic abusers are so far gone that they never even consider the consequences of what they're doing whatsoever.
This was fascinating, truly! I love that you cite studies and research papers too, just amazing. And as people below are saying, I was with a Narc for 19 years. His ego/self-esteem were more fragile than glass, he was incredibly controlling, and when I refused to allow as much control as he 'needed' over me, he pretended to feel contrite, only to fret and boil underneath for a while then explode for literally no reason. Took me years to realize, and made waiting for the explosion a very tense and nervous time. I am an Autistic woman too, which he never knew so enduring his mood swings happening at warp speed was impossible.

Had a girlfriend like this and this is really hard to watch. It all came to a head when she threatened to call the police and say I raped here after we had a disagreement. Needless to say I called the police, cut myself off and received 100 emails a day for a few years but it finally stopped and I thank god for it. I really really hope that the girl is alright, this is really difficult to watch.
I saw him sometimes on videos with George Memelous, was never a huge fan but I couldn’t guess he was a narcissist, I just recently cut ties with my ex who is a full blown narcissist, when she saw she can’t use her emotional manipulations on me she tried to spread rumors about me to make me look like a villain and telling people I was abusing her this all time, I’m lucky I didn’t need to defend myself too much because my demeanor said it all

@@karolinarutkowska3459 In our constitution we have amendments, basically old edits to the rights of American citizens. The first amendment is the right to free speech and press. Since we have a lot of corruption there are people who go to public government buildings and exercise their rights by filming government officials doing their jobs, normally if they get illegally detained or arrested they can get a big payout in a lawsuit. A lot of our cops either don’t know about our rights or their egos are too big to care.
Analyze a few scenes The Punisher tv show and the Daredevil Tv show. There’s some good ones in there like the court scene and PTSD scenes I think you’d like!
Howcome he's only being called a narcissist and not a sociopath? I know that every sociopath is a narcissist but not every narcissist is a sociopath. But what doesn't Alex have that makes him only a narcissist and not a sociopath?
Sociopathic people don't generally seem to care at all what others think. Only how they can CONTROL it. Narcissists, on the other hand,are obsessed with their image. He shows a lot of grandiose behavior

I personally think he leans more sociopath. Sociopaths like to intentionally cause pain to others just for the fun of it. Narcissists are slightly different
