During his testimony on Friday, Antonio "Mounk Tounk" Sledge said prosecutor Adriane Love did not want him to mention that rapper Young Thug told him to take Kenneth "Lil Woody" Copeland to the police station. The incident happened back in June. Sledge and Copeland were accused of killing Donovan Thomas Jr. in January 2015.

Young Thug faces nearly a dozen charges, including possession of drugs and weapons, participation in criminal street gang activity, and conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act. The rapper was arrested in May of 2022 along with 27 other alleged gang members. Many of those defendants have taken plea deals in the case.
