The Supremacy Sun being a dark monster could also be a reference to the fact the sun is actually classed as a "black body" which in layman's terms, is a celestial object that does not reflect any light or other types of EM radiation.
Three things the video forgot to mention: - The Earth has a mass of 5.97219x10^24, which is identical to that of our own planet. - Earth's rotation is not always the same. Today (april 18th 2018) a full rotation takes 24 hours and 1.1416 milliseconds, which is again identical to that of our own world. - It takes an average of 365.25 days for Earth to orbit the sun, an average taken from the various ways to define a year's length. Again, this is the same amount of time it takes our own planet to do the same.
The fact that terra firma is a fusion might be due to the fact that earth also colided with a smaller planet whose name i can't remember and they kind off fused together Gretings from Portugal
Did some research. The planet's name was Theia. It supposedly collided with Earth and shattered. While some of Theia's remains merged with Earth, the rest formed Earth's moon.
Pluto the demon, neptune the ravager of the sea a pirate, uranus the forbidden despair, satarn the machine master, juptier the grand ruler, mars the blazing beast, terra the hero of the earth, venus the angel queen, and mercary the speedy tricker, and sun the god they all have a theme that fits them
Just realized that the effect of Pluto doesn't target and has no end phase clause on it so essentially it's a permanent change of heart. There's gott be a way to expose that effect and use it in competitive yugioh.
Especially woth all the searching in the meta. As well, it could expose what a person is playing or gice you a trap like evenly matched. It would be good but it has no protection and is a trubute monster woth no alternative summon requirement in itself
@@frankzhang866 Yeah, uh, fun story. This particular problem is basically non-existent thanks to the mechanic known as Pendulum Summoning. Also, Saryuja just sorta exists.
Honestly I love e-hero terra fierma requires ocean and woods to be formed plus it's literally an earth attribute. Like good job to the creator for keeping to the earth theme and not make it a light attribute and using some other kind of summoning meathead
I mean, being king of the Underworld of dwarf planets is still a decent gig. Also another channel routinely draws Hades/Pluto as a scraggly haired pretty-boy so yeah.
I love this video a LOT... but Terra Firma belong to Koyo Hibiki but he gave it to a young Jaden before he falls in a coma state by Tragoedia. Love this!
I always thought "Splendid Venus" was more in relation to cards with the names of other gods like "Minerva Scholar of the Sky, Athena, Bountiful Artemis" etc. Mostly because they are all Light/ Fairy type monsters, and are often played together, especially in The "Wave of Light " Structure deck
@@TitanTeck I mean the planets are all named after Roman Gods/Goddesses, so technically you are not wrong. (some of the planets also share an attribute similar to the respective god: Pluto is dark fiend ... and the god - greek name Ha Des - is the god of the underworld so it fits; Venus is the goddess of love and beauty - greek name Aphrodite - so a female light fairy fits very well; Mars is fire attribute - which kinda fits the god of war in a way Neptune being water attribute - fitting to the god of the sea)
Believe in Jesus Christ receive his gift of salvation and eternal life joy and satisfaction love God with your everything love others as yourself spread the word of God
People may be surprised to learn that the Yu-Gi-Oh GX manga was light on Fusion Summoming. In fact only 3, technical 4, characters ever Fusion Summon. Jaden, Syrus, Aster, and Baston (but only once). That’s why the Planet Series is made up of mostly tribute summons. I would like to see this archtype get a retain. Maybe focus on 2 per Summoning mechanic?
Same here for this archetype getting a retrain, mainly because I’d like to see this archetype get some more support, allow all the monsters to be playable and nor forbidden due to a broken combo, and heck maybe even get upgraded forms or new art its too cool of an archetype not to get these things
I've also heard that the "Elicpse" behind The Supremacy: Sun is also a nod to the wicked avatar in it's sphere mode as it appears in its own card art. The Wicked Avatar is itself a dark/corrupted version of the Winged Dragon of Ra. Since The Winged Dragon of Ra is the highest Egyptian God out of the three in their hiarchy, a representation of the heavens (Oblalisk is earth and Slifer is sky), and a pet of Ra the sun God; it makes sense the evil counterpart would fit along with The Supremacy: Sun. People tend to hate a lot on GX but the storyline is so much more connected to the first series than any others, especially in the manga. Not only do we get the Sacred Beasts as secondary dark counterparts to the Egyptian gods, but the story of Tragoedea was actually set up in the first series with Mahado being the second priest to hold the Millennium Ring, at least with intentions of permanency. We are told the ring corrupted and overtook the first priest with its influence but not elaborated fully on the details, so finding out his story and his connection to Cul Elna acted as a great side thread. The deepness of Tragoedea as a villain is also underrated considering he is a true monster by the time we meet him in series but how he became this is tragic circumstance that can be felt very relatable. It also shows the ripples of consequences caused by the ritual of the millennium spellbook/the circumstances surrounding it have extended far beyond the small circle of key players we thought it did and even hints at something more. Tragoedea was a person..but his extended time in the "shadow realm" caused him to become a dark demonic creature. Since it is heavily inferred that Zorc Necrophades originated from this realm, passing into our dimension by the ritual contract and the spellbound had existed on earth for so much longer before the priests deciphered it, we could speculate this isn't the first time the spellbook was used. The origins of Zorc himself would be wrapped up in prior use and even in the earlier manga it was shown that different versions of "shadow games" were used by different ancient cultures throughout time. 5'ds SORT of followed up on this with other duel based creatures of legend that could be considered tied to the same interdimentail magical principles and the side series/fiiller archs with Alexander the great/the waking the dragons plot, certainly did this, but not as well as I would hope. Tragodea certainly leads credence to the idea more evil can be produced from the shadow realm and we never learn what other spells were I the Millennium spellbook, nor its ultimate fate after the events of the first series revealed..it is still out there.
There needs to be support created for this archetype. The art would reference the dwarf planet stuff. Like Pluto crying and one or multiple of the others coming to his rescue
When you explained the cards and planets and you said like "It represents the sun..." And I was like: I would never have guess... But I respect your work thank you for this video
I've been wanting to make a "scrub deck" for the Sun and Saturn (separately) for a while, it's a shame I've got just about no ideas At least I got some sweet deets on space! Love this stuff!
the reason saturn has rings around it is because god liked so he put a ring on it (if you liked it than you shouldve put a ring on it) lol. also i have splended venus
I have suggestion, I have been watching your videos for the past two and half years now and I am really liking them and looking forward to seeing them. An archetype I am suggesting is Galaxy Eyes.
Here is what i think Uranus can be used in true draco Saturn basic power up and double attack equip spells deck Mercury can be used in a swarm deck ( predplant brilliant fusion ) Venus in a fairy deck maybe tricksters or counter fairys possibly artifacts Mars metaphyes or burning abyss Jupiter lair of darkness maybe Supreme sun in darkworld Can you do those decks in 20 decks of chrismas
I've collected all of these cards and me and my friends get bored enough to use these in an anime duel. It's one of the funnest things to have summon pluto against them 😂
The sun actually does "rotate around itself" as the center point of all the orbits in the solar system is not in the exact center of the sun, as the gravity of the planets does have a small effect on the sun
I got to get my hands on The Suppression Pluto. He seems like a really good card against Obelisk. The moment I bring him out and declare Obelisk, I'm almost completely certain my cousin has it in his hand, so I'll know how to take him down before he even gets the chance to summon it. Although I did beat him with the Cyber End Dragon and Limiter Removal to finish him off.
