Casual deck matchups are more "win by the die-roll" than meta matchups. Most casual decks can't out each others' best boards and aren't consistent enough to even set up those boards right away. There's way more luck and variance involved that makes them uneven against each other just by circumstance.

Hot take: I think cards that have been nerfed to ground with erratas should be reevaluated and either have there original effect or be slightly altered with another errata so that some of the most well known cards such as Chaos Emperor Dragon can still have their time to shine in the appropriate decks even if they aren’t as broken as they were back in the day.

Talking about mistranslated cards: The German version of Sophia, Goddess of Rebirth has or instead of and in its summoning conditions. Meaning you could summon it just by having one of either a ritual, fusion, synchro or xyz monster on the field instead of all of them at once which would make it kinda broken.

My hot take is that backrow decks need support in the form of hand traps, turn 2 cards and extra deck monsters. Mine if nothing else showed that the only way backrow control decks can play is floodgates, if people hate floodgates then at the very least konami should compensate how much weaker they are compared to summon27 decks.

I actually DID once play a game where that was how time worked - the round was 60 minutes + 1d20 minutes. At 60, they'd say that an hour had passed. When the extra 1d20 minutes passed, "Confusion in Chaos, Action Round ends."

Ok so I actually run a blue eye deck, and to be honest it's better than people give it credit for. By all means it is definitely not the best rogue deck but I play a pure blue eyes deck (I need to update my deck list) but it has surprised me in the past by beating Eldich, Tri-brigade, and VW (all TCG matches). so when you have the right pilot, the deck can be pretty resourceful. But still losses to hand traps :/

My hot take is that i prefer the newer yugioh art, i like the variety that we have today and how ridiculous it can be

If you wanna keep generic bosses (because we cannot change them all), please prevent something like 1-2 card combo. Generic extra deck already a huge advantage for combo deck, because they can have easy access to good monsters with various effects like Omni-negates, floodgates, quick disruption, protection, etc. It will be more unfair if they still have some handtraps or staples card because they only need a few monsters to make a big board. . This kind of combo is making other kinds of deck hard to compete. Example like control deck, most of control deck is still only have small body, specific effect, and should be aware with card management. I know we have some equalizers like DRNM or annoying floodgates like Mine, but I think it's not a healthy card to balance the game. I think Konami make some crazy floodgates and going 2nd cards, to balance the crazy combo too, but it's not a good move. . Less omni, make more specific negate or interruption. And please make 1 monster with 1-2 effects only, stop making 1 monster with countless annoying effects.
