This was pretty cool! Here's two more cool facts: Toon Table of Contents had "God" and "Demon" removed from its artwork outside Japan, and Mimicat was called Doppelganger in the English anime because its Japanese name is Copycat, which they already used for Joey's card, whose Japanese name was.... Doppelganger xD
Micaiah the Otaku Gamer [HybridAngelZero] also also, in the Japanese version of table of contents the last word "beast" is on the page 666 and in the american version is changed to 721
Great video :) I do hope toons get some more love in the future - they've got a lot of potential and aren't too bad even against modern day decks. Plus, they're pretty cute.
Been appreciating how quick and consice these vids are, gets to the point and doesn't waste time. Because of that, I've been able to watch more without getting bored. Good work.
Duelist of the Roses counts them as toons Though nowadays most card designs could very easily be considered toon monsters cause of their very cartoony faces and bodies
Great vid and love this format. Can't wait to see you do this for more archtypes. P.S.- You forgot to mention Parrot Dragon who is also considered a Toon Monster like Toon Alligator
I think this is a great change! I'd love to see some videos about archetypes like Red-Eyes and Charmers! As for what you could improve, maybe you could list off a few cards that would be beneficial in a deck based around the archetype in question?
Really liked this format more. Surprised I didn't notice some of the stuff in this archetype dispite playing it for a long long time. I still would love to see something like a Toon Stardust/synchron/Junk Warrior, Toon Utopia, Toon Neos and Toon Pendulum Dragon one day. Would be so cool.
By far my favorite so far and I’m a little biased here because I just built this deck due to it being my favorite archetype. And now I will call my sorcerer genie from now on 😂😂 and for the video A+ for content 👍🏻👍🏻
the pay 500 to keep on the field was the original japanese effect of toon world. of cours it also gave it back when toon world left the field. This effect was changed when it reached america and was in a pack that never made it to america
I enjoyed this video, I am not particularly interested in the current card game, but I do like the older video games and series. Keep this up, as I wasn´t aware so many new toon card were made.
hi there I'm a big fan of your videos and I was wondering if (I know you already make character profile decks) you could make competitive decks? just an idea
GarethWilliam414 you're welcome, you deserve way more subscribers, you're so entertaining, I'm watching all your fact videos tonight, and I'll check out your other vids too :)
I wish people give another look at the Toon monsters and update them all. If they did the same for some of the Relinquished cards then we can have new toon monsters; both monsters based off of existing monsters and/or even new unique toon monsters and spell cards.
Speaking of Pegasus, during his duel with Yugi, why didn't Yugi just attack Relinquished with Dark Magician,as opposed to controlling him with Brain Control,Jigen Bakudan wasn't equipped to Relinquished and the way that Pegasus lost the duel is total rubbish
