I just inherited my Grandpa's m24/47. Great rifle. In pretty good shape too. Maybe a little polish on the stock, a little oil, and I'm ordering a site hood, but other than it's a great rifle. The bluing is in great shape even though the gun was almost as old as he was before he passed just last week. Rest In Peace Grandpa. Your Yugo Mauser will certainly be loved and taken care of just as you did.
The Yugoslavian army sure took good care of those rifles. My M-24/47 looks brand new, and I've never shot it. Looks like yours is in similar condition.
It didn’t look that nice when we got it. The previous owner fired corrosive ammo through it and we thought it wouldn’t be savable. But after a good cleaning it looks brand new and it still has good rifling
