I'll miss Shokugeki no Soma. Where else are we going to go for an excuse to put hentai elements in a anime? I mean sure, we got other ecchi anime but it's not the same, also I love shouting out, "FOOODGASMM!!!!!" whenever the deliciousness of the food overpowers them.
I'm definitely buying the book. It is quite rare for me to do stuff like that as well as I am a frugal frugal bastard. However, I really appreciate this channel as it makes a lot of the foods that I've always wanted to try more accessible and it really shows how easy it is to actually make a lot of these foods.

The best hot "sushi" I've had was a burger sushi from the Cowfish in Charlotte, NC. They also have locations in Raleigh and Orlando. Taken from their menu: THE ALL-AMERICAN BACON DOUBLE CHEESEBURGOOSHI Seasoned all natural beef, yellow cheddar cheese, white cheddar cheese, applewood bacon, and red onion, wrapped in soy paper and potato strings then flash fried. Topped with ketchup, mustard, dill pickle and Roma tomato. Served atop Cowfish sauce. Served with house seasoned fries they didnt specify here but there is, of course, a layer of sushi rice as well. it sounds like insanity, but my gods is it, to this day, one of the most delicious meals i've had.
looks so gooood *drools * can't make though.. the downside of living in a small city that doesn't have enough people with exotic tastes.. international section is like.. one aisle at best :/ and mostly snacks and drinks..
Does unagi count as hot sushi? Probably not quite what you mean, but also dammit, now I want unagi. I wish unadon were more widely available in the US.

Great video. One extra tip while filling the inari would be pushing(no t squish) the rice to the corners so that they don't look so flat/missing visual texture
I have to ask, is there anything I can use other than soy milk? while I'm not deathly allergic, I do break out with mean rashes a day after consumption of non fermented soy.
i don't think i'm going to make the sushi rice pilaf (at least not any time soon) but I am super interested in the apple butter. Which admittedly I forgot about this entire dish until this video.
