Happy Sunday Paul! Had a great breakfast again; Nutmeg spiced buttermilk pancakes, New York State Maple syrup, maple-apple-wood ham steaks, and Kona coffee. Today's shave will be the Gillette Sheraton with a Gillette 7 O'clock super platinum blade, Mitchell's wool fat, Semogue owners club boar brush, Captian's Choice Bay Rum aftershave and balm. It is always to treat to watch you shave...you make it looks so easy and you are inspiring. Oh, your dinner...nice. I love roasted turkey. I like to stuff the turkey with a sage bread stuffing. Served with fresh made dinner rolls, whipped potatoes and turkey gravy, cranberry sauce, carrots and peas, and dessert...Pumpkin pie with Chantilly creme. I have to wait until November for that I'm afraid. My weekend is great...and please enjoy yours. Take care.

I love my palmolive sticks . I have many soaps but I find palmolive is just ridiculously slick and the lather is amazing

Fantastic video Paul. I agree that you don't have to use very expensive gear to get a great shave. I'm a vintage shaver and get awesome shaves. Love the Palmolive. It's a real classic. Hard to get here in the states, but I remember the scent. Take care my friend.

Nice shave Paul, after one pass with the Yuma you were pretty cleaned up, I did realize it was so efficient. Palmolive is great stuff, the flower arrangement is sweet. It's been very hot here in Northern California, uncomfortably hot. Thanks Paul for making Fantastic videos. K

Today was the last shave I'm going to have for a little while. So I felt the need to shave while watching this. Nothing fancy on the blade front, Just a free trial from harry's razors and their foam but I finished it with two of my favourites...Proraso "Wood & Spice" balm and some M&S Woodspice aftershave (the one in the dark green bottle). I'm going to miss shaving but at least I have these videos to keep me going while the beard grows. Great video as always!

You have always shown that a cheap razor used with good technique will always beat an expensive one used badly. I perfected my technique by following your advice to use 'no pressure whatsoever.' It took me a while to realise that 'no pressure whatsoever' really does allow the blade to do its work. Thanks for the tips and tuition!

This razor looks like my Merkur 42c. Perfect shave. You insist there on the neck area with ATG, I like to insist too, I get some nicks and cuts, but BBS in the end. You made it look easy sir. Congrats. Subscribed already, I like that most of your products are inexpensive.

The flowers looked wonderful..really missed them as an intro.....It sets the tone...everyone has an off day...but we share them as a family....Good shave Paul...i,use the Pamolive stick about every 10 shave's...I just prefer the bowl mixing...Can't really see the love for that razor...It would have to hold some sentimental value for me to use..The med prep blade is top notch..Nivia and thayers ..For a great finish...Dinner sounds world class as well as the beverage choice...As you said..." That was a superbly superb shave Paul I have had really good luck with taylor of old bond street shave cream and my Black Beauty 1976 quater 2 with a gillette 7 o clock green super stainless made in Russia blade.💈💈💈💈👍

Very enjoyable shave Paul! I have to get some Palmolive, my father used it from a tube, and I'm sure the scent will take me back in time. The flowers looked beautiful to me Mrs. H, but knowing how fussy Mrs. W is, and the high standards you both have, we'll respect your judgement. great shave! i been looking for that turkish razor for a bit its hard to find one in the states but have wanted to try it. this whole week i been on a derby soap boar brush and club man aftershave any scent kick. i may have to get my palmolive stick i been holding on to lol had a friend get me one when he went to the UK. have a great sunday.

Very nice shave there, Paul. I'm looking forward to using the Yuma this evening for my weekly "Sunday Evening" shave. As I mentioned last week, I have been getting outstanding shaves with that little bugger lately, so much so that I can seem to give it up to use another one of my razors just at the moment! I think one of the reasons why it shaves so well for me is the angle that it holds the blade, which is very similar to the angle that the Merkur Progress holds a blade. The Progress is another razor that always gives me outstanding results with little or no irritation. I'm glad to see that you like the Duru Limon so much. I love it and wear it as one of my daily colognes alternating it with the Geo F Trumpers extract of West Indian limes cologne. The Duru smells great and is a whole lot less expensive than the Geo F Trumpers cologne! I was first introduced to the Duru at a Turkish barber shop in Wantage, Oxfordshire last summer and have been using it ever since. Thankfully, we can get it in 1 liter refill bottles from Amazon here in the States, which makes it an even more cost effect choice. Take care & enjoy your Sunday!

Got miself a YUMA today, brand new, including an Arko-stick, 10 (!!!) Derby premium blades and a Nerox boar brush AND a bowl for...drumroll...€5!! Now i can shave Turkish-style ❤❤😁😁.

Hi Paul I have a Yuma razor that's even milder as the Wilkinson Sword Classic with the plastic head. I think they ar making several types from mild to agressive.

Late comment, I realize. Just got a Yuma razor. It's a newer edition, but design is exactly the same. It no longer has the yuma logo, and the finish is much, much better quality, almost as good as the Merkur 42c. It's beastly aggressive, though. I have to be an in impish mood to use it!

I tried the Old Spice Shaving Cream, Indian made latherable tube. Nice stuff, lathered very well. Slick, protective, and had a nice cologne scent. I can't believe they'd sell something like this in India but nowhere else! What a strange world we live in. I also have Musk and Lime to try. By the way! Have you seen Aqua Velva's new aftershave balm in your local stores? They're selling it here in the US now. Bought my first tube at a local CVS drug store.

Greetings from New York City------------Paul------Why did you remove all of the foil from the shave stick?--------In future, please remove just a few mm (one quarter to one half inch) of foil---Just enough to expose the soap for immediate use----------The foil is there to keep the soap from degrading & becoming messy---------Otherwise, Palmolive shaving stick is great----Trusty and convenient for travel---------As always, another great demonstration, mate!

I’m with you because the razor works but it seems to look like rubbish after prolonged use. With that being said I would put it in the bin. If you can not make a product that performs, and looks good, then try again. I will not spend my hard earned money on it. YMMV
