YSL L'homme is my favorite out of the bunch for sure. It's a timeless masterpiece. If the projection was stronger and the cologne lasted longer. This cologne would be in the top10 best of all time.

Its gives gentle, comfort and cozyness gentlemany vibes as other haves said. The name in french means "the man" and indeed it's the perfect name
Original YSL l'homme was my first fragrence buy ever back when I was in high school. My mother and I were strolling through the bay at the mall when she called me over to smell it. Not knowing she was going to buy it for me I I responded to the scent in pure amazement. She bought me a 50 or 60ml and it became my signature scent. I remember my friend joking around taking and putting on my jacket. In the midst of his romping, he stopped, sniffed inside my jacket and said "mhmm!! smells like Johnnie" (Johnnie being me). YSL L'homme orignal Is my first love and will always have a special place in my heart.
I also discovered this in highschool. I imagine I’m a bit younger then you but first ever compliment from multiple girls. You know at that point I wore it everyday lol. Just bought another bottle and just like you it’s got a special place for me as well.
That's funny. If I knew high schoolers wore this, I would've wrote it off before even trying it. I think it's excellent for any age. A classic. But I still love my own HS scent from 10+ years ago (Abercrombie Fierce) and gravitate towards similar DNA's to it.
Ultime is amazing.. I have gotten compliments every time I've worn it. It projects pretty strongly for the first few hours, even with only 2 or 3 sprays. At first I was concerned it was too feminine, but i love the smell
I just bought the Ultime perfume two days ago and the salesman had the last 5 bottles stashed inside and never mentioned anything about it. By coincidence some guy asked for it and bought 2 bottles, then when I asked him he said another 2 were reserved so I bought the last one and did not regret it whatsoever. Absolutely gorgeous perfume in every time of day and night. Love it.
YSL L'homme has been my signature scent for like forever. The scent-wise is so beautiful. Some may criticised the longevity of it but you can totally spray like five sprays and it would still be inoffensive. It's so amazing, man. I can never get over it. There's something about the scent that gives me and the people around me some sort of comfort and cozyness. It's definitely sexy. I get compliments a lot wearing this. I just love it.
L’Homme is my go to out of the bunch. It reminds me of my father, I just got it last week. I love it & have gotten compliments on it. Great fresh scent
L’homme intense was my signature scent for a long while. Women ALWAYS loved it when they smelled it. But I notice Azzaro wanted by night gets the job done similarly but for a fraction of the price and personally I like it more
I have ysl l'homme l'intense and absolutely love it the smell is so unique and idk how to explain it but it smells rich lol. I wish it performed better but its ysl they arent known for projectionso well haha. So my question is are ysl l'homme l'intense and azzaro wanted by night really similar cuz if they are i might cop it.
@@kuhar5165 I wouldn’t say they’re similar but I would say you would use them in the same settings / occasions and seasons. Azzaro wanted by night smells rich and sexy too though so they’re similar in that regard.

L'Intense is my favorite, just got a new bottle of this week. I have about 1/4 a bottle of Libre left, sad it got discontinued. The original is also great.
Well, L‘Homme a good scent, but also pretty Unisex. Especially the opening thats why i never bought another bottle. The Flanker i really like is Intense and Parfum.

Friends, Ultime is a really, really good scent! It has super good performance when compared to the others in the L'Homme line, and performance is my biggest gripe with the overall line. It's still in stock on fragrancenet (as of when this comment is being made, 3/31/2021) and for a decent-ish price so pick it up now if you're even mildly interested. It will be harder and more expensive to get ahold of in the near future, so pull the trigger. As a massive fan of the original, it's absolutely worth it in my opinion if you like L'Homme and you like rose!
I coped a 200ml of Ysl Libre $ome years ago... 90 percent left... I knew it was going off the shelves, before I got it, for 50 bucks... So, according to EBay, I'm holding gold 🤔🤔🤔
Azzaro ginger lover smells very similar to l' homme ultime.. its a worthy cheaper alternative if you're looking for that sparkly and candied ginger feel
I like how clean it sounds your videos, also when you record outside. Great pronunciation for latin people like me, hehehe.... Just a Lil recommendation. While your talking about some fragrance, you can put the name of it, overall if you're doing a ranking. If it's possible help your vids with some visual elements (like ingredients)
If you combine YSL L'Homme and D&G The One Intense.. you will get a very complementing scent, that would last you somewhat more than just the scents for themselves.. I like this combo a lot. My friends surely agrees 😊
There is a difference between l’homme parfum intense and l’homme parfum L’intense. Intense is more spicy over the sweeter l’intense. Most wouldn’t even know there was two without some deeper research. It’s very confusing…. But they do have both out for sale and they are slightly different. The intense seems to be little more expensive and harder to find.
L'intense has been discontinued for a few years. In Europe I can't seem to find any more bottles on the web, even resell. I managed to pick up 2 bottles last year for around 170$ a piece. Can't imagine the Intense being more expensive, I still see it in stock.
Love Lhomme just wished it pushed a bit more and lasted a bit longer. A great everyday fragrance. Maybe if I spray molecule 01 mixed with lhomme it would help ? Who knows.
It's sad that the projection & the longivity is lacking. It's sad that this colognes has the price it does for the lack of proformace. Wish the price & proformace were better
Interesting review. I have L'Homme edt, L'Homme Sport a bargain ( bought it 2 years ago: 200ml/$78) and L'Homme Libre (100ml/$103) I'm waiting to receive La Nuit de L'Homme edt and L'Homme Ultime....
I'm updating my 2 last adquisitions. LA NUIT DE L'HOMME it's very interesting. L'HOMME ULTIME it's very nice too. I don't feel nothing special on classic L'HOMME. And L'HOMME SPORT has a low performance.
Which YSL would you recommend over the Bleue one? I love the scent and bought it for my boyfriend for Christmas, but I realized after it wasn’t a parfum and a lot of the reviews say it won’t last long so I’m looking to return it and get a better one :) I have got him a pretty nice collection off white #1 & #4, Giorgio Armani Absolu and some others ones. I have a strong nose so most smells give me headaches, but I enjoyed the bleue one and was wondering if there was another similar YSL one?
I sample L'Homme and thought it was meh, I tried Libre and thought it was ok but gifted it away. I am only interested in trying Ultime out of this line.
I have all the lhomme line, I bought a tester of libre and it didn't come with a cap. It drives me crazy seeing it with no cap. And the cap is the coolest one, clear plastic

Does this smell like ysl L’homme ? I’m intrestead to know because I have ysl and it’s my preferred fragrance but it dosent last very long and wanted a similar alternative
Can you please clarify what exactly is L’Intense? I see it referred to as PARFUM L’Intense and alternately as L’Intense Eau de Parfum… Are these two distinct, different fragrances or just people mashing up terminology?
A few of these are discontinued you can see by going on their official website and when I went into Macy’s, they did tell me a few of these are discontinued over at Macy’s at least.
Confusing how you see L’Intense as either PARFUM Intense or L’Intense Eau de Parfum… Are you saying they are NOT two different fragrances, but one and the same? Hard to get a definitive answer. Really sloppy mashing of naming if so 🙄
I think L’intense is getting discontinued. It’s not at Macy’s (however my Macy’s had the tester out). It’s still at Ulta in one size and YSL ain’t restocking. Honestly is my favorite of the group.
