Just picked up ARH 2" headers with a catted x pipe for my C6Z that's already got H/C/I/E. Swapping the 2" ARH out with my current TSP 1 7/8" catless setup. How much quieter should I expect a catted ARH 2" setup to be than my catless 1 7/8" setup from TSP?
Mike Cirovic my stock guides were worn out at 26k miles so I sent the heads out to American Heritage Performance for their package 4 which addresses the issue as well as porting and milling for more power. Rechecked the guide play early last year after 8 or 10k miles and they had no appreciable wear. I'll just get in the habit of rechecking every 10k miles or so to prevent a valve drop from costing me an engine.
