To move your song (or bourbon) to the front of the list, please bribe us by sending a bottle of bourbon, preferably one we haven't had on the channel yet, to: BCR 484 E. Carmel Dr. Suite 155 Carmel, IN 46032
Among my favourite Jason Isbell songs - this is a decent cover but there’ more emotion when he performs it. Some Isbell recommendations: Songs That She Sang In The Shower, Live Oak, Streetlights, Last Of My Kind, but you can’t really go wrong!
A Marine in his dress blues❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 the song was good but there was a line in it I didn't like...."What did they say when they shipped you away to fight somebody's Hollywood war?" That kinda p*ssed me off. My dad (May he rest in peace) is a Marine. At his funeral, they did the 21 gun salute, removed the flag from the top of his casket, taps was heard on the bag pipes and that Marine knelt down in front of my mom and handed her the flag. I hadn't cried, I stayed strong for my mom but when that happened, I lost it. The saddest sound on earth is a mother's wail when her child dies and taps at a military funeral. Not a fan of this song. Y'all need to hear thier song Chicken Fried. Do I want to know why Keith was talking about anal-izing stuff🤣🤣🤣 Put the bourbon down Keith and back away nice and slow and maybe no one will...oh heck! Who am I kidding? Y'all are nuts!! As usual you never fail to make me giggle. It hasn't been a good day, but y'all made me laugh loud. Thank you!
@@Holly_D84 Doesn't matter. I still don't like the song. Others will, I don't. I come here to enjoy Keith and Dustin's take on the music, the songs and yes the bourbon. I also get a good giggle from them, which is greatly appreciated. Yeah, um, thanks for ruining that.
ZBB are phenomenal musicians. I've seen them twice. All of their original music is amazing. And their covers? Metallica to Beatles to Stevie Wonder to Van Morrison, and everything in between. You guys should check out the Devil Went Down to Georgia. CMA awards 2010. It'll blow your minds!
And I hated barracks bunnies. Our best friend married one of those twits, even after we told him not too. Thank God he divorced her. But we still give him hell about it

Marine Corp funeral, the past is in his/hers dress uniform. Perfect in every aspect and detail. Been to a few too many. Good song, your reaction was expected.
@@BourbonCountryReacts so says the ladies at the lucky Lou strip club down the block who end up married and at the clubs looking for new babies daddies as soon as hubby redeplys
I was feeling so sad after this song until Keith said that 50% of Marines sign up because of the Dress Blues. It brought back the memory of taking my son to his high school orientation. We knew they had a JRROTC program and we had discussed him taking it as he wanted to join the Military but up until this day he had wanted to join the Coast Guard like his dad. We entered the lobby and I turned to ask him a question at the exact moment he saw the JRROTC table. He saw students wearing Dress Blues and his eyes nearly popped out of his head. That was the beginning of a 5 year long denial on my part and didn't want to believe he would actually join the Marine Corps.
Love Zac Brown Band! This song was really good. It took a while to get the meaning of the song, but I got it!!! Keith, you are so right about "Dress Blues." My favorite branch of the military is the Marines just because of their Dress Blues. So sexy!!! When my Daddy died in Augusta 2018 and one of the songs we played at his funeral was "My Old Man." This was my brother's song for my Daddy. LadyGator1983🐊🐊🐊
A song I think you'd like, on just a military stand point, is highway of heros by the trews. Its not country so it wouldn't be right for this but I still think you'd like it. Not really sure what genre it would fall in, its one of those that doesn't seem to fall into a genre but it kinda has a country feel but also not.
Absolutely loved the "which is more powerful for TAPS?" question with the instruments. Bugle is pretty difficult to get right because there are no valves to change notes, it's all in how the musicians change their mouth. Another little thing I find bugle special for TAPS.
I went to Wreaths Across America this year and heard taps on the bugle and think the bagpipes (the man was walking with the riderless saddle). I also heard the gun salute. It was an honor being there and you’re right-the sound is something you will never forget.
After I watched your Chicken Fried reaction, I was super happy to see you found this one. 💙 If you want to hear a beautiful, well-written, lush guitar song, I recommend Martin ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--nc1vMIEdxQ.html. They also collabed with Chris Cornell on an amazing song called Heavy Is The Head ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zfWiAuJVKqM.html
@@BourbonCountryReacts yeah the Army is actually called Army Sercive Uniform, but soldiers call them blues. That is the uniform I am actually wearing in my profile picture. They have just recently went back to the Eisenhower uniform Pink and Greens for everyday wear. They still have Mess Dress as well.
