Zack is a hall of fame person, in high school he drove old beat up car with a smile on his face, you would never have guessed his parents were wealthy, and he was nice to everyone

I ran on the Tech Track Team when ZT was playing at Tech. Talked with him a few times. He's known for football but what a great humble person. We need more men like him in this world. Congratulations ZT you deserve this!

(fits better now than it did then 😂) Those of us who watched Zach on a weekly basis were always living vicariously through his achievements. Always the underdog he showed that you can become what you want to be despite people's preconceived ideas about what should be. He was everyman and every fan, especially on game day. Even Peyton manning had to do extra video for hours the weeks they faced Miami because ZT knew all the plays and he’d call out all the audibles too. I'll never forget running into Zach Thomas in a Barnes and Noble in his prime. He looked like a solid block of muscle and was thumbing through this teeny tiny book. It was comical, but we were so awestruck as kids that we just kind of looked at him. He gave us a nod, and then we ran away to our parents to tell them about him. Great memory. In terms of heart, he is the best Miami Dolphin that ever put on the uniform.

Amazing speech! I was crying at the end just like him! He has always been an underdog and made it all the way to the Hall of Fame! Zach was a special player at all levels. I got to see him first play both ways as a FB and LB as a Pampa Harvester. He was making plays on both sides of the ball. Great player and man, and came from a great family.

My favorite. I came in as a Miami fan in 1990, so I got late-Marino, and loved seeing him play, but I got to enjoy all of ZT’s show and hustle and he’s my all time favorite.

About flippin time... Zach Thomas had numbers nearly the same as Urlacher and yet one was first ballot and the other waited over a decade.

I always liked Zach Thomas. I had a friend refer to him as Barney Rubble. Zach was my favorite Line-Backer. I give huge props to the artist that made Thomas' bust. Great bust image of a great football player.
