@MUFC every nation on earth loves soccer? Hmmm....I would argue there isn't a nation in the world that does love soccer. Why? Because to my knowledge the only nation that calls the sport soccer is the United States and I can assure you...we don't love soccer! Actually that isn't true. America thinks soccer is a great game for kids, great way for young boys to safely get some exercise and develop footwork but once they're big boys, they play the big boy sports...and leave soccer to the women because thats what America truly thinks of soccer...its a women's sport which is why we dominate the world cup because truly, as far as we're concerned there is only one World Cup...its the one for women

As a Brit, these sort of breakdowns made me love the game of baseball. I assure you, baseball fans, if someone was to do a similarly funny, yet informative breakdown of plays in cricket, you too would love the game. The essence of the two sports are very, very similar. @jhandle4196
@jhandle4196 2 месяца назад
Zack is not your ordinary pitcher due to his personality issues. He's certainly one of a kind. There's the time he couldn't get the catcher to call the pitch he wanted, so he held up 4 fingers so all could see including the batter, and then threw that pitch. That's the kind of stuff a great pitcher has. If they throw a pitch in the location they want, it's unhittable even if the batter knows what's coming.

It’s a team game....but individual performances matter, and much of the one on one between pitcher and hitter, with the camera in their faces....is just great. Love these breakdowns. Hard to explain baseball to most people, they think it's a boring sport. I think they'd be more interested if they were close enough and could listen in on the game that is being played on literally every pitch between the batter, the pitcher, the catcher, the ump, the managers in the dugouts, and anyone else that is close enough to the action and giving their two cents. I wonder if we micced everyone up, to hear the interactions at the plate and the base paths between opposing players, if people would finally understand baseball. I go to live games for this stuff, kinda like hockey fans go to the fights to see if a hockey match breaks out. Until then we have Jomboy to break it down for us.

LOVE the new generation of baseball for wanting to be all out and extra. Definitely needed in baseball and will always be needed to keep baseball fun. Sports are entertainment. Yes professional to a certain extent but if you want to keep the game alive keep the kids entertained by bat flips and 1 on 1 showdowns like soto and greinke.

I could see why Soto's attitude could turn some people off. I think it's awesome for the sport, and I love seeing this mind game stuff. the media should focus more on moments like these, it may get the youth more into baseball. It was always a thing, the Major league films in the 90s focus on this exact issue. It's definitely a lot of fun.

@SmartSaverU
@SmartSaverU 4 года назад
@@JohnnySnipshow yes, it's awesome for the sport. Baseball desperately needs personalities right now. Sports in general are very sterilized right now, but baseball has the unique problem of how long the games are and how long the season is. I personally do not have a problem with how long baseball goes on for, I think it's necessary for the game. however for the general public, baseball can be viewed very boring. I don't think baseball is boring personally, and I think these people don't give it a chance. If we have personalities like Soto, there will be people that will want to tune in to see him get struck out or to see him succeed because they idolize him. Rivalries in sports have been diminished, but I think baseball has an opportunity to capitalize on its personalities and bring in fresh new fans. Otherwise baseball is going to go the way of boxing.
