“…retreats to this place every few years” The more I rewatch this scene, the more I think Dick returns to Haly’s every time he needs to process trauma/grief. He’s there after Conner’s perceived death. And every few years also fits him being there after Wally’s and Jason’s deaths.

I love this version of nightwing. He’s the best version and a believable right hand man to the big bad bat that is likely to take up his mantle one day. Unlike his new 52 movie counterparts where they favor Damian.

Although they are definitely an exes, there is still some spark and attraction between them. I love them💘

It’s so sad these two aren’t together anymore. They had great chemistry with each other and had potential to be a great couple.

Damn even after all these years there's still some sexual tension between Zatanna and Dick/Nightwing. Still wish that Dick in this universe ended up with Zatanna instead. And I love Barbara, but the chemistry between Dick and Zatanna was just great.

Good to see these two together considering the most we saw of them both in the same room as one another after season one was for only a very brief moment in the first episode of the second season. I low-key ship the two of them, I know they’re exes but you can tell there’s still a mutual attraction.

I love that they show him still making appearances in the circus

Honestly I like Nightwing and Zatanna as a couple more than Barbarra, batman the animated series left a bitter taste in my mouth. Besides in season 1 their interactions where much better and feel-good then Barbara and Dick in season 3

For some reason the idea of Superman being mildly irritated that his coffee is being interrupted is funny, it’s not an injustice level trigger just the sort of annoyance that everyone experiences.

Considering he didn’t call barbara to help…… or go to their apartment….. maybe they aren’t together. Oracle helps nightwing even when they aren’t dating 🤷🏻‍♀️

If the Haly Circus wasn't so f*cked up in the actual DC canon (see Night of the Owls), I would love for this thing to be canon. Dick Grayson coming home once every few years to destress.

Seems Dick was doing another favor for his old circus friend, also he and Zatanna were sorta rekindling what they once had in S1. Anyway she has just given him proof that Conner is still alive and they're now searching for more leads by checking with Clark first.

I know Nightwing and Zatanna said the same words Saturn Girl and Chameleon Boy to Superman as a subtle way to let him know that they know about Saturn Girl and Chameleon Boy, but I think I would have preferred if the exchange played into Dick and Clark’s more amicable and friendly relationship they have in the comics. Have it go like: _Dick and Zatanna walk into Bibbo’s Diner_ *Dick:* “Hey, Clark.” *Clark:* “Dick! Zatanna! It’s good to see you two.” _Clark is smiling but then drops his smile when he comes to a realisation that they’re here on superhero business_ *Clark:* “What brings the two of you to Metropolis? Do you need my help with something?” *Zatanna:* “Yeah. Back in May, you were approached by two people asking for Superman’s help, right?” *Clark:* “You know about that?” *Dick:* “Yeah. The thing is, Kid Flash has gone missing and he was last seen with those two.” *Clark:* “That’s terrible news.” *Dick:* “Yeah. From what I could tell, Bart’s completely disappeared. And I believe he went off planet. And, Bart disappearing off planet…it reminded me of what happened to Connor.” _Clark looks at straight at Dick with a shocked expression and then looks down_ *Dick:* “Clark…Did those two have some connection to Connor?”

That was the best performance I have ever seen in my life. But I find Zatana cute, when she was wearing Dick's mask, for a few seconds. It's the first time I've seen her wearing a mask

Don't get me wrong, I love Barbara, but in pretty much every universe she gets trumped by other choices for Dick. In most cases it's Starfire but in the YJ universe Zatanna and Dick definitely deserve each other. She's a 10/10 competing against two 11/10s

Thus the creators of the series are spared having to create appearances and/or identities for "filler people". Or perhaps also to make the relevant character stand out more.
