Yeah, because the Hylians were so delusional to think the Goddesses could save them from Ganon’s return. And the Demon King does bring up a good point in this game, given that he wants to bring back Hyrule, since some people may wanna be done with the past, but the past is not done with them, because it wants its day and please those who it back since it was happy times for them.
@@Nimzo25the entire point of Wind Waker is to move on from the past and do away with it. This is why Ganondorf is the antagonist and the King of Hyrule says him being unable to move on from Hyrule is the flaw that made him the same as Ganondorf
I love the theory that Calamity Ganon within BOTW was only just a version of Puppet Ganon now that we know Ganondorf still exists. But it makes total sense. The very first version we see of him is a snake that flies around Hyrule Castle. Then when we fight in the castle he takes the form of a spider. And lastly when he transforms one last time, he takes the form of a boar. The Ganon we fought was never the true Ganon, just a puppet but one that could have the power to destroy almost the entirety of Hyrule.
You know, you could've adjusted the camera for the spider phase to get an overhead view so you can see his reflection and tell exactly where he'll land.
Like something out of a horror game. People say that Wind Waker was the most kid friendly Zelda game, but it seriously had some really creepy parts. Remember the redeads? 😨
I've always wondered: is Puppet Ganon a bunch of transformations Ganondorf undergoes or is it just a monster he created and controlls like a puppet from the top of the tower? He's probably bored out of his mind and finally gets the chance to fight another "Hero" (Do not betray my expectations) so he wouldn't go all out from the start right?
It is a Puppet! You can see it in the Minitendo Galery A Puppet who is controlled by Ganondorf! The Puppet is based on Ganon..the only second Form of Ganondorf
Before I realized that Ganondorf was controlling Puppet Ganon I always that the strings were supposed to represent how Ganon is controlled from Demise’s hatred. I also thought that it was a Twilight Princess situation where you fight Ganon before Ganondorf.
In the Original Wind Waker you can kinda see through the curtain as he transforms!! Idk if it's better or worse for a reveal but still is creepy non-the-less
Here's a tip for the spider part :) ! Pull the camera down and wait until puppet ganon spider falls because you can see when it's gonna land on you easier. It's because at the top he spins around for 5 seconds
Snake tip knowing it's the most annoying!! There's a weak spot in puppet ganon snake.. hit its head and then he'll stop for 2 seconds giving you enough time to move and hit his ball.
"YOUR GODS DESTROYED YOU!" Possibly the most truthful thing Ganondorf has ever said. Instead of letting him rule the Gods preferred to kill like 90% of the world lmao
To be honest the way the gods handled the situation was very shitty considering they’re…gods. They could have just sealed Ganondorf away in the sacred realm again or something. I’m sure that when the Hylians asked the gods for help, getting the entire land flooded wasn’t what they had in mind.
In second form u can see the reflection of the spider in the water, in the third form throwing a bomb at the snake's head when it goes striaght twoards you makes the snake stop moving. You can attact the snake with you sword to but bombs give u more time.
Is it just me who was stuck here? I didn’t realise you had to shoot the blue ball with the light arrow and spent ages trying a bunch of other things until I gave up and came here
Of all the number one classic game titles in video game history in The Legend of Zelda franchise this game's probably my most favorite like Ocarina of Time.
I had a dream about this boss fight maybe once in my entire life. It takes place on a stage, and puppet ganon is wearing a little German alpine hat and lederhosen like a little Bavarian boy, and surrounded by all these cardboard cutout set dressings like mountains and houses and clouds and link fights him on the stage. As the fight progresses ganon ascends up into the rafters of the stage with the lights and the rigs and pulleys and link follows him up there and defeats him. The strangest part about it all is whenever I watch or play through this fight I always expect it to play out like my dream version. I always forget the dialogue and Zelda sleeping in the bed. It’s like my subconscious has completely replaced the dream boss fight with the real boss fight, and the one seems more real and familiar to me than the other. It’s very strange.

I about lost my friggin mind with the last hit on the snake. Finally got it after about 20 minutes. I was literally ready to smash my television I was so mad. There has to be an easier way than just trying to aim at the tail while hes moving around a thousand mph. So damn frustrating!
I have always wondered why we got Puppet Ganon instead of Ganon himself, I have searched everywhere byt can not find an answer. Most of all I'm simply as ro what he would actually look like in his true form.
If you think about it from a storytelling perspective, it makes a lot of sense. This Ganondorf is much more restrained and sympathetic than previous versions of himself. He is no longer mad with power and now merely seeks what was probably his original goal in OoT before he went mad with a lust for power: the betterment of the living conditions of his people. This time, he goes about his plan in a much more calm and restrained manner, only seeking to do what is necessary to further his ends. By not having Ganondorf transform into Ganon, they are representing his humanity and distance from his primal lusts through gameplay. Puppet Ganon can also be seen as a metaphor for how Ganondorf is essentially strung along by fate; he is first cursed to lead a futile struggle against Hyrule and his inner lust for power, then is thwarted by the Goddesses when he acquires the Triforce prior to Wind Waker, and lastly, even when he reconnects to his original, more noble ambitions, as well as dedicating himself to the prosperity of Hyrule and all its people (evidenced by his condemnation of the Gods for flooding Hyrule and his unwillingness to kill either Link or Zelda), he is still thwarted by the Goddesses. I hope I've explained it well enough. I could write an entire essay analyzing Ganondorf's character.
Gannondorf: I’m not going to let a little rumor get around! *I CAN’T AFFORD GETTING CANCELED ON SOCIAL MEDIA LINK!!* *(link cuts the main string on puppet Gannon)* Gannondorf: I knew I should’ve gotten the mech instead of a puppet. Think Gannondorf for once! Just think!
