Zero G Platinum Vacuum Cleaner REVIEW - The Best Vacuum You Never Heard Of 

Thanks to this video, I purchased a Zero G F3D (not the Platinum, they weren't available) over the weekend and it arrived today - Wednesday. I can say that they have great customer service as when ordering I didn't get a confirmation number so called to make sure my order completed correctly. I received a call-back over the weekend and was given Edmond's private business number in case I had any other issues. Wow. First use was fantastic. The unit is sooo much quieter than my last vacuum, is easy to maneuver, and did a great job on my carpets. I never thought I'd say this but I'm so happy to have gone back to a bagged vacuum so I don't have to put up with the smell of my old bagless. So far, I'm very pleased! Thank you for these wonderful review videos you do. Oh, and Edmond asked where I heard about Zero G and I was happy to tell him, Performance Reviews.

First off these are great vacuums. They are well made and work great. Now why you shouldn't buy one. The price has ballooned to $799 as of 9/24/22. Up from $500 when they came out 4 years ago. They are probably a victim of inflation and rising costs like everyone else. The geat performance value they once were is now gone. They are now directly competeing with the brand name German made vacuums like Miele and Sebo. A Sebo K3 with the ET-1 power nozzle is about the same price and a better machine long term. Other reasons not to buy would be no cord rewind at this price is a joke. The other big one is that Zero G is a very small company. They have been going out of stock on a regular basis for long periods of time. They may not be around in a 5 years when you need parts or bags. Then you are stuck with it and at $799 its not worth the risk.

I have the original zero G model, not sure what makes the platinum different, it sounds like the same motor, sounds like the main difference is that it comes with a few more attachments. It's a great power team canister for the price. I've talked to one of the engineers there, his name is Ed, not sure if he is the owner but he's a great guy. The hose end is a standard Plastiflex hose end so you can attach other attachments and even plug in other power nozzles if you want. I realize most users won't have any interest in that but for a collector like me who likes to mix cleaners and attachments, it's definitely a good thing. I would absolutely recommend the zero g cleaners.

This is a pretty good machine, i'd suggest they swap the cheapsy turbo tool for a tool for things like blinds or curtains.

Almost makes me second guess having bought the sebo E3. It looks like the brush roll on the zerog is more effective than the sebo.

Just bought a Zero G a couple weeks ago. Far superior to anything else I have ever owned. I have had Dysons and bagged Hoover uprights (with the Dyson being the worst I've had). Zero G cleans better and is effortless to push around. My Hoover Hushtone gave me a workout because of how heavy it is.

I have room-sized shag area rugs. My Shark chokes on them, which is why I'm looking for alternatives. How good is this on shag?

One thing that wasn't discussed or demonstrated was if this will exhaust some dust back in the air? Filtration and suction are my top priorities for any vacuum. I got the Sirena about 2 months ago and personally found it doesn't spit out any dust or debris out of the exhaust. My air does truly smell fresh and clean. Yes, water filtration vacuums are definitely a lot more work in both set up and after cleaning the basin and separator, but it seems a small sacrifice for the cleaning ability, suction and filtration. That said, I didn't know about the Zero G before spending $800 on Sirena and this video might have made me consider this vacuum instead. I just don't see where it's in stock on Amazon or Wayfair. I guess to make a short question long LOL, is this comparable or better that Sirena in regards to filtration and suction?

Out of curiosity, seeing your repair videos, how do you prevent contamination with bedbugs from any used vacuum cleaner that enters your shop?

Doesn't the hover-craft kick up dust? Seems like it would especially on hard floors.

Doesn't the air coming out of the hovering mechanism blow off the dust on the floor? That could be a con.
