Thanks man. I just did this to my fast feeds and it does work. Kept seeing too many negative reviews on the ceramic blade route. I can knock out a bald line now with the lever all the way closed. I would say there's a "slight" learning curve on these so just start with the lever open when trying to fade and work your way down. Im no pro barber and Ive only been cutting my own hair but ive been doing it since before covid. Just a heads up.
360 jeezy recommended the ceramic blades, I had no experience or knowledge. A few days ago, I cut my hair using the original blades that came with the fast feeders, and I think they cut super nice against the grain with no modifications. Cutting with the grain, without any modifications has no effect on my hair. I'm going to modify my blades when I get more experience.
Dude i have never seen this ever!!! soooo gooooddd i did it the old fashioned way with a ceramic blade lol!!! i love my ceramics cause of the cut but u have to sharpen them hella more than u do the metal ones! definitely thinking of doing this soon! thanks a bunch.. also sorry for commenting on a bunch of ur vids! but u never stop learning in this industry and when i see something that is worth saying .. i say it.. i appriciate u .. thanks again!
Don't do it. The blade fits perfectly as far as height but the side bars that hold it stable are a bit different so the cutting blade shifts and with the lever closed you are gonna scar somebody up.
Great idea but if you already have the (1) Oster blade on deck, but if you don't its a lot more inexpensive to just get the ceramic replacement. (literally half the price)
This works great but once the guards are on, the blade hits the guard since the blade on the 1 detachable is also wider than the blade on the fast feeds. Not sure if there’s a way to fix that but still works nicely to zero gap it
Not good. The cutting blade is not stable. You can actually move it because the little side bars are slightly different from the fast feed cutting blade. Not a perfect fit at all.
Bro I can’t find those Andis double magnetic guards. Don’t think the sell them anymore. Do you recommend any other clippers guards I can use for my fast feeds?
MoneyOverFame what’s up bro ! I’ve been looking everywhere for them and I can’t seem to find any. I found one or two on eBay but way over priced. I would def recommend these though they are very very good and won’t pop off on you.
Benny after I put the 1 guard blade my fast feed guards are kinda hard to get on and off and they’re loud as hell when they’re on . Is this normal . I know the andi magnetic is the way I should go but I got all the oster guards already
Double magnetic guards are way better.check if the blade is hitting the plastic or anything on the inside of the clipper anywhere. Sand down if necessary. I think that’s what people are doing
Aye man I got this replacememt blade for the zero gapping and not when the lever is fully open thr doest move at all tou have any ideas? And yes I did make sure to put that little platic bar baxk propper as well? Thanks
@@benreyes89 I dont have IG brother but thank you so much for reaching out. Actually some other guy on your comment section gave me a tip that I didnt even consider. And that was to adjust the lever a little bit and by doing that I think it even helped the stock blade set to the 000.

Lies. It does not fit perfectly and the cutting blade shifts which is a bad thing if you have the lever closed. Just buy plenty of alcohol and Neosporin along with the $20 detachable blade if you do this...
@@benreyes89 it fits...yes. Perfectly? No. If you do this or have done this test it. See if your cutting blade moves...and I don't just mean side to side.
@@benreyes89 it moves up and down at an angle. Although it takes a little force to do it by hand with the machine off, when it's on the vibration does it and if you have the lever closed some of those teeth from the cutting blade are gonna come over the top and nick somebody's head.
@@benreyes89 it has to do with the little plastic bar under the blade. The groove that the plastic piece fit in is wider on the 76 cutting blade than the one on the factory fast feed cutting blade which gives it room to move with the vibration.
