For me it's everyone's reaction to after "I am....ZERO!". The music coupled with everyone reacting to it is just beautiful. This is definitely one of my top ten moments in code Geass.
What makes Lelouch interesting is that he prefers to rely on his charisma and strategies over using his hypnosis power. Yes, he does use his geass frequently, but he use it with precision and finesse, often using it to create his "miracles", making him appear even more charismatic and influential to his subjects. The way he speaks......
@@cunningsmile4166 I believe in episode 4 or 5 of R1 Lelouch said to CC that he already was planning on taking on Britannia and that his acquiring of the Geass helped him speed things along.
I hate him more than Ohgi only by a bit (for Ohgi, he was still a part of the good guys while Diethard sure knew how to go turncoat on both Britannia AND The Black Knights)
It doesn't make sense for deithard to betray him. Diethard was actually happy when Euphemia ordered for the deaths of the elevens and was happy knowing zero somehow convinced her to do it. Yet when he learns about how he did it he helps ohgi with his coup de etat. Makes no sense
@@__Theta__ he knows that after zero's identity was exposed, the black knights will not be as solid as when zero leads it. He also said that his decision to align himself to schniezel is right. For him its to survive the whole event of code geass for him to document it.
@@impidimp9331 I'm pretty sure he knew zero had something to do with Euphemia ordering the britanians to execute the 11s. The quote was "I dont know how you did it zero but this is a perfect outcome"
Everybody talking about Zero, C.C or Lelouch in the comment sections Me: Whats up with that giant cuddly bear, something in these peoples living room? 0:16
I like how as you rewatch the series, you realise that almost everyone who is reacting to this scene, drastically changes their beliefs by the end; those who love him start hating him, and those who hate him start loving him. Pulling off those extreme changes in ways that are complelty believable for each character is one thing that is so amazing about this show and it's writing
There for once again, here and now, I declare the establishment of the United States of Japan! Greatest protagonist ever. Greatest ending ever. Greatest anime ever.
Too bad you had to go underground after the Zero requiem. I would love to see you put Orange Julius in his place. My apologies to Jeremiah, but I just couldn't come up with anything better for him. Maybe Little Julius the pizzaman? What do you all think?
FAH Holliday I meant Not Lelouch from the Agito OVA not Jeremiah. Its just that Julius has the same name as the food chain Orange Julius and I sincerely couldn't come up with anything better.
Echo7099 It also makes little sense since the US was named like it is since they were originally a group of independent states joined together via common interests while Japan is an unified country. If anything he should have named it the Republic of Japan.
2:17 “It’s ZERO! the real one!” I like how almost everyone is in denial or doubt that it’s really is Zero. But after realizing how stuck in a position Britannia is to act , at the same time killing the viceroy and securing an escape route, they know the only person who’s able to do this is him. The threat is back.
Johnny Yong Bosch is often referred to as one of the greatest voice actors of all time. I wouldn't go so far as to say that this is his best role, but it's definitely one of my favorites.
John Mandrake They're based on personal enjoyment. I liked him alot in Blue Exorcist, and he did a great job in Tales of the Abyss along with Yuri Lowenthal. I think one of my other favorites is when he voiced Sasori in Naruto Shippuden. I just like his more evil roles, he goes along with them well.
2:17 I love this part because Lelouch's sheer brilliance is enough to convince them that it's not a fake. No one except for the real Zero could pull off such a miracle.
After watching this scene again, I can actually see how this is C.C. Lelouch's movements are grander and bigger. As for C.C.'s, you can see that it is more finesse, smoother and slower. And the way she moves her hands and fingers starting 1:12 is so C.C.
Same fr. The choreography of the scene, the OST (I really need to find it), the reactions of all the characters from R1; everything was perfect about this scene.
slj1000 In one of the episodes there was a hilarious and disturbing table raping scene by the crazy chick. And by that I don't mean raped on a table, I mean the table was raped.
To be honest, what really made me sad with R2 was seeing Suzaku's demeanor change from friendly, at times butt-of-the-joke guy to an ultra serious dude with a stick up his ass. Not saying it's a flaw with the show, but it breaks my heart every time!
we'll never have a show that'll match the level of drama and political hyperbole of code geass. The music, dialogue, plot; all intertwined carefully to form a once in a lifetime masterpiece
I've always daydreamed about a version of code geass not from the perspective of Lelouch where you only see Zero as a Titanic figure from a distance. Imagine this scene in a world where you've seen the rebellion rise up and be crushed without confirming what happened to him. The oh shit moment.
Zero isnt here only for japan, he here to do what it just for mankind. He just started there in teh frist place sence he was send there by the emperor.
If zero was real he’d actually kinda be an sjw/ social Marxist... social Marxist and authoritarian more than sjw though... it works in the code geass world because there actually was a tyrannical government/emperor... but yeah lol fun to think about
What I love with The show is even with magic and mecha fights left and right they still remain politicly accurate. Such If a terrorist was granted entrance to an embassy and were not a cidizen of britania (for what they know) Then they really could not intervene. Point for political acuracy
I never say this, but he kinda looks like a evil Power Ranger. Which makes sense because his voice actor (Johhny Yong Bosch) played the role of the second Black Ranger.
actually there have been lots of "zeroes" in history. a charismatic speaker who leads other people to fight and kill for ideologies such as freedom, justice, and so on. i actually dislike zero as a character because he's a warmonger. we need more "Suzaku" in this world. Suzaku stands for peace and protecting lives regardless of nationality or ideology. Suzaku and Euphemia could have rebuilt Japan without much bloodshed, and that's what we need the most in this world where people kill each other in the name of "justice"
