Another nice fix, and no worries, Mr Bozo visits the farm here in Canada too......the leaky CAV fuel pump I repaired after watching your video is staying nice and as well.
In our shop the saying was, "it's not a foul-up 'til you can't fix it". I've cleaned up the language a bit for the public, it was another "f" word that was used! I found your site through Emma's site, and I've been enjoying going through your videos. Cheers mate!
G'day Lanz greetings from Tassie, mig welding is something I really want to try and have in the shed. One question though, would that have been better to braze on instead of mig? I would like to know why you use gass with mig welding sometimes? Great video I have liked everyone you have done so far, you have a great sense of humour and a very relaxed way of presenting your videos, thanks very much Lanz all the best from John
G Day John, The gas shields the weld from contaminants and makes a nice gas enviroment for welding. The gas is argon with some Co2 I think. Braze may well have worked too but as it was welded originally it was monkey see monkey do lol.
Hello Lance, nice easy repair, Done well. I have also on several occasions forgotten to turn on the gas,why havent the manufactures of these machines put a large red light on the front of them saying -No Gas-. Anyhoo enjoy your vids, S.
