Hi Marcus, thanks for the updates! I always rely on you for the updates in c-ent biz. ❤ Zhou Ye looked very tired and gloomy but that's very human. Everyone of us has that moment when we are just want to close the window and don't want to meet anyone. As a HUGE fan of the trilogy of the Condor Heroes, I was lookin frwd for The Legend of Heroes. So far I enjoyed it, and it's thrown me back to the original novel. It's a bit dark at first but I am so relief that the director did not change most important scene. so I am looking forward for the rest of the episodes. I am currently on Ep. 2 and Ci Sha is a good choice for Guo Jing, but I feel that Bao Shan'en is not really a suitable for Huang Rong, but perhaps it's only my thing, as the last Huang Rong character played by Li Yi Tong, had a strong impact on me. I am more proud of Meng Zi Yi, who has raised into a big star from portraying Mu Nian Ci (in 2017 adaptation of TLOCH) to Mei Chao Feng in this legend trilogy. I love her acting so far.

Oh, I got so worried that Zhou Ye’s black face controversy was about race (I’m pretty new to c-ent). Hopefully the real controversy won’t be too damaging for her. I know celebrities choose their career, but being followed and photographed all the time must be exhausting and I don’t wish it on them. I also think theres is a possibility that the photographer may not have had their credentials showing properly or Zhou Ye was so overwhelmed that she did not notice. Who knows. On my end, even if she purposely ignored the photographer, I could not care less about that attitude, but I know it can damage her reputation so I hope all is cleared or forgotten quickly.

Actors are indeed human & have good/bad days just like everyone else. Is this simple & obvious concept so difficult to understand? I think not. Actors are not machines or windup toys. The current idea that these persons cannot even walk out of a room, down a corridor, exit a means of transport, without having a camera or smartphone record their every expression, body language is absolutely unreasonable. Even more ludicrous is the idea is they should feel obliged to interact with "pleasure" with intruders into their privacy, regardless of the place & time. No one, other than people involved in the entertainment world (especially) in Asia suffers this type of uncivilised imposition & treatment and gets criticised to boot when they do not engage with the intruders. My words sound harsh but in my patch, Europe, no one is on duty all the time .... invasion of privacy is just that. Promotion, interaction with the media (national or otherwise) is work & distinct from private & in-between times.

Enjoying Hot Blooded so far. They gloss over the earlier part of the story so we didn't get properly warmed up to some important characters, but I think that's okay because they probably want to focus more on the latter part of the story. I love seeing Meng Zi Yi again, she played Mu Nian Ci in the 2017 Legend of the Condor Heroes and she's in this one too! But the most important part: the fight scenes are awesome and there are plenty!

People should allow Lee Hom to pay tribute to the deceased, more so to late Coco Lee, whom he knew well! Nitizen, shame on you!

I've watch the legend of heroes 6 ep so far ( first impression rate it 8 out of ten), it's very good. always love a good wu xia drama, time will tell if this is one of the good dramas this year.

THE LAST COOK is a really good drama if you don't mind bad translation and cinematography. Storytelling, characters, acting, comedy, martial arts scenes ( unfortunately not many)are great. It reminds me of watching English dramas when you get emotionally connected with story, characters and that era. They are going to bed in pyjamas and with loose hair, finally 😂. For people who likes watching a good story, FL is sometimes annoying, but romance is delicate. When you catch the wave it pulls you to the open sea, worth watching drama. Such a shame for titles

It seems like these fans are just waiting to think the worst of any actor or actress. Having grown up with a mom and sister and them marries and lived with a wife and daughter, my first guess would be that she was experiencing her cycle. All of the ladies in my family become dragons about three days per month. It would be very hard to put on a good face in such a circumstance. Every other clip I've seen of her shows that she is a bright, cheerful, and classy lady.

I rather want to know what Marcus thinks according to Zhouye and Media thingy, cuz most of us, intl. fans don't get the whole picture. Like, I personally think it's bizarre, that this CCTV 6 staff thinks it's fine to take a video and pic of celebrities wherever they are and totally entitled to get pissed off and post the clip with CCTV logo, and encourage ppl to criticize the "questionable" behavior, who may or may not even notice them, cuz you are from CCTV 6. However, many C-netizens have different ideas. And I really don't get it. Maybe, Marcus has a better idea. Anyway, imho the interaction on the red carpet is a totally different story. Thanks for the update Marcus, Lost in the Shadows rating is a bit on the low side and probably reflects that the suspense arc is good but did not live up to its full potential and the overall theme about long lost kids is quite sad. But the acting in it and the character arcs are really fantastic. I found it quite enjoyable. Even though the action scenes are decent, Hot Blooded is turning out to be a very mediocre adaptation so far. No wonder they didn't dare call it Legend of Condor Heroes, it is definitely missing some characters - all of the main ones!
