I just wish I could afford these, my current Roland TD-50k2 flagship kit cost my over £4500!! it is amazing though, and I think if you need full stage presence than you do need a nice acoustic looking eKit, like the Roland VAD706, DW eKit of now this new one. As Im in my bedroom, Im perfectly fine :)

This is a super kit for that person that gigs. Change your heads, grap your regular cymbals and hit your gig. Go home put it back and not go to war with your neighbors. I need to try this before saying this is the holy grail. I am holding out. I do hope they come up with a cymbal pack and a cymbal module with a few front of house and USB. I own a VAD 507 and honestly I love the kit. By I would buy a cymbal pack if it works like they claim.

A piece of metal that doesn't make noise but when u hit it it sounds like a cymbal when mic,d. They have been trying to do this with no success for a long time..trust me

Interesting. This new technology in electronic drums is starting to gain a lot of traction, yet being an old guy, I still prefer actual acoustic drums. They just have that organic feel that cannot be replicated in the digital world. I'm OK with triggers to complete the full sound, but nothing feels better than playing on a real acoustic kit. The quirks and struggles of tuning an entire drum kit is becoming a lost art. This whole plug and play mentality is creating a loss in appreciation for the instrument. BTW, when you get to my pink sparkle Squier, if you find anything that is a glaring issue, let me know. I understand it's a cheapo low quality piece, but it's also a great looking guitar. Any suggestions to make it play and sound as cool as it looks?

I love both types just as I love both electric and acoustic guitar. I see why it’s more and more a thing. It fits so many scenarios. 100 years ago the drum set itself was new and not for everyone. I just love drums overall. 😺 We’ll make a plan to make your guitar shine. 😺.
