Hey guys, a new video today.
What I used in this video:
Razor: Carbon Cx-Ti
Blade: Gillette Nacet
Brush: Varlet Gaslamp 29mm XD
Soap: Zingari Man 'Barrel Proof' (Top of The Chain sold out :( )
Soap Ingredients:
Stearic acid, Vegetable Glycerin, Beef tallow, Shea butter, Potassium Hydroxide, Castor oil, Palm oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Fragrance, Bourbon, Jojoba oil, Oat bran oil, Shea butter (and) Glyceral Rosinate (and) Olive oil unsaponifiables, Coconut oil, Daikon Seed extract, Goat milk, Coconut milk, Sodium lactate
Scent:
Rich and slightly spicey Sandalwood, warm oakwood, sweet Tonka with a bit of smokiness and bite of bourbon As a little special touch we added real bourbon in the soap!

I didn't try the original, but was told there were scent issues. Whatever they were, this one has rectified that situation!

I prefer the Carbon Ti to the SS version. It’s smoother and yields a more comfortable shave.

The quality of your lather and your education on the load, the build, and the final touches is your strength. To me, most RU-vidrs don't focus on their lather and may not know how to correctly lather, and focus too much on the hardware they are using in that video. IAMCDB is also a student of correct lathering. I feel most people in this community, RU-vidrs and viewers, don't understand that the lather means more than the brush or the razer. At some point I will start to film lathers in addition to my product closeups. Keep up the lather porn. I appreciate it brother!

Nice shave Jack. I just got the Barrel Proof yesterday, I really enjoy the scent. I agree the sandalwood is definitely upfront with the sweet Bourbon in the background. FYI Top of the Chain sold out the same day he posted Barrel Proof.

Great Video Jack so far you been pretty dead on on most products and reviews so far 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼💈 Haven’t tried that razor except Ti Timeless .68 which is Ok.. I would love to get my Karve Titanium that’s my Goal so far I enjoy my Karve & Wolfman 1.15sb & .95oc Best of the Best 👌🏼 I would like to see you make review on best Sandalwood Soap / Scent besides TOBS as we know it’s a good one… I recently got Geo F Trumper Sandalwood Cologne it’s pretty good doesn’t last all day tho certainly not a powerhouse… Take Care Alan H

@@TheVirtualGroomroom I had a shave with it last night and I loved it. I was very surprised at how dense and creamy it was while not being annoyingly thirsty. My den was missing a tea scent and it fills that void nicely.

I'd actually prefer if you just left the water running full blast for the duration of the shave. 😆 Jokes aside, I don't even notice it. Maybe because I rinse quite often myself. Seems part'n'parcel to me. Sego is a BOSS base for sure. Thanks for sharing your time...and thank goodness for a bit of footy starting up today. 👍 🤝👊✌

Hi Jack. I love Titanium razors. Wolfman WR2 Ti, Blackbird Ti Haircut and Shave Ti P076, Timeless Ti.95. The Carbon is the only razor that I preferred the SS because the Ti is too light. By the way how do you like Portland I may be moving to Lincoln City OR along the coast. Cheers!!!

The brush name: it's a French word, with no final vowel, so surely the T is silent.

@@TheVirtualGroomroom so, I just edited my comment, as I used the word "consonant" instead of "vowel". It's not yet 6:30 in the morning, so my small brain isn't at 100% quite yet. But, I am still saying you don't pronounce the T.
