I think you are holding the spine of the razor too close to your face. Get the spine slightly away from your face and slow your strokes down a bit. You are making great progress though. Happy shaves!

The Virtual Groomroom gorgeous razor. Ive been around to Max’s house and he produces some of the nicest artwork. He hones all my razors and its the best honing ive ever had done.
